Grand Trine of Healing 3d chapter - Chiron Venus North Node in Cancer

January 2019

In previous months, I wrote about this Grand Water Trine of Healing activated by Jupiter, the Sun, Mercury and the Moon. This New Year brings the 3d and final chapter of our healing when Venus arrives at the end of her Scorpio journey and activates the Water Grand Trine again, this time with her soft touch of Love. This is a highly emotional contact. Let us understand why.

Eight years of Chiron in Pisces come to a close

You may be aware of what Chiron in Pisces taught you the last eight years about emotional sacrifice,  wounding, and healing; more so if you know what house is occupied by Pisces in your Birth Chart. There, Chiron has been having an issue with his identity dissolved in the primal soup of the Piscean 'ocean'. Taking into consideration that Chiron in Pisces transit happens once in 51 years, one understands how powerful his effect has been during these eight years. After going into Aries for a short time, he came back into the last degrees of Pisces just to make sure we got his message. We are now taking his 'final exam', so to speak.  It may resonate with something that happened in your lives between 1960 and 1968 if you were alive then. What's the open wound that reopened now for final healing? Were we able to heal? Or we are trying to heal someone else instead, avoiding our own pain?

Every person has experienced this in a different area of life. For example, if Pisces is your 2d house, you may have thought that your own value, your self worth was not that important, or you may have sacrificed your own finances and possessions for others. "The body itself may be felt to be unreliable, faulty, wounded [... or with some] actual disability, injury or physical trauma to cope with" (Reinhart 107). If Pisces is your 7th house, we are always engaged in hurtful and sorrowful relationships. "The situation is often a repetition of our early relationship with the parent of the opposite sex, and [... we] believe that relationships are dangerous and should be avoided." (Reinhart 138).

Together with the Scorpio activity of the last six or seven years, Chiron has been one of the most painful and deeply transformational astrological influences on our lives. Being at the end of the Zodiac in Pisces, Chiron is preparing us for a Rebirth when he re-enters Aries, the sign of the new beginnings, of new form, and new identity.

Venus in Scorpio trine Chiron

Venus and Chiron dialog about unfulfilled and painful love, values and finances. In trine, it gives us the opportunity for healing previously unresolvable relationship issues, and conflictive personal values. We may have "met people who feel familiar to us and opened us to other dimensions of consciousness through painful relationships" that can only be understood and resolved considering the oneness of all (Pisces). These relationships have probably brought us a mysterious, as well as unfathomable personal growth. This is our opportunity to overcome the painful sensitivity to disharmony and unrealistic expectations of love, values and money. Our relentless efforts for reconciliation can now bare fruit, and we may finally understand the true meaning of Forgiveness of the other and of ourselves. "Chiron aspecting Venus often brings a genuine ability to open others' capacity for relationships and to touch them deeply. We see people as mirrors of ourselves and find differences hard to encompass" (Reinhart 208). However, now Venus at the end of her Scorpio journey, in trine with Chiron at the end of his Piscean journey of eight years give us the balsamic ablution that closes and erases our Venusian wound.

Venus and Chiron trine the North Node in Cancer

If you remember what I wrote about the North Node shifting to Cancer realm, now you can see that Chiron in aspects with all the other planets has been helping us transform our emotional body, so we are able to find comfort, safety and a soft and tender 'shelter' where our head can rest in this chaotic world. With the North Node in Cancer we look within the walls of whatever we call 'home' for support. Having successfully healed our deepest wound, we are now ready to stand tall, face the new challenge and start anew what 2019 brings for us. And I can assure you that 2019 comes in full force. Life is changing in unforeseen ways. We will find ourselves in a world that may now seem unbelievable, but the challenge is just preparing us to live our most cherished dream.

Solstice and Full Moon in Cancer 0º - December 21-22, 2018.

This Full Moon picture looks like an eye in the night.

We got to the darkest possible point of this year for the Northern Hemisphere. From now on, light will increase constantly. AND, saving Uranus that will join the party on January 6th, all planets are now moving forward! We have the green light!

However, in the darkest moment the night luminary is at its brightest, even closer to Earth, shining its light powerfully on some important issue we have to acknowledge, complete, or change. This Full Moon in Cancer shows us very clearly something crucially emotional happening in the house where Cancer falls in our Chart. Is it in the 7th house, about long term committed relationships? Or in the 4th house of home and family? Or is it in your 6th house of health, fitness and daily work routines?
While the Moon casts its light on the seat of our emotions, opposite, the Sun in Capricorn is our self authority telling us what is socially acceptable, what is in fact possible to materialize, what are the boundaries, or showing the unavoidable reality.

Sun and Moon square Chiron

The Sun and the Moon square Chiron forming a T-square. And Chiron is approached very soon by Mars, just 3 degrees away, which I consider already a working conjunction. Mars and Chiron dialog about wounded will and passion, inadequate expression of anger or unexpressed sexual desire, resentment, passive aggression, becoming sick with the bottled up desires, unable to express what we really want, frustration, wounded assertiveness. This T-square is a dynamic force, a conflictive planetary energy, helping us to change directions. Something got to give! Something in that zodiac house is too painful and the Full Moon is showing it very clearly.

Often times, the resolution of the conflict can be found focusing on adjusting the theme of the 4th leg missing in the T-square. In this case, it would be helpful to look a the zodiac house occupied by Virgo and its theme in your particular Birth Chart. For example, if Pisces is in the 2d house, Virgo is the 8th house of transformative crisis, energy merges, financial or sexual, with partners.

Mercury square Neptune

We are practically forced to see. However, we may try to avoid seeing it, because Mercury in Sagittarius, close to Jupiter,  approaches a square to Neptune in Pisces, obnubilating our mind, or coloring our understanding with a higher inspiration or unconditional feelings. Fantasy can get creative here. At the same time this square may give us a clearer insight to finally see a higher truth, a higher purpose of the events we are living between the zodiac Houses (themes) occupied by the transiting Mercury, Jupiter and Neptune.  If, for example, Mercury and Jupiter transit the 11th, squaring the 2d, something may happen with friends, in networks or social groups that can either confuse or illuminate the truth on personal finances, self-esteem, the body or self-worth.

Venus trine Neptune

Venus now direct in Scorpio after her retrograde evaluation, has found what she really values about money, in relationships and love. She feels very intensely in Scorpio that it's all or nothing. For now, Venus in trine with Neptune feels unconditional love, and spiritual connections in her relationships, personal or financial. She flies high with her heart full of hope, unconditional love and goodwill.  In a favorable relationship with Saturn in Capricorn, her values are supported, with high possibilities of manifestation, of becoming real with time and much work. Hopeful about love and relationships, very soon, Venus will be powerfully supported by Pluto, the planet of transformations, who, by the way, rules Scorpio and her transit there.

December 18, 2018 - Sun aligns with the Galactic Center 27º Sagittarius

The Milky Way Galaxy - our home
What’s that sweet spirit we feel around the end of the year? Are you sure it is the Holiday Spirit? Let us reflect on the coincidental Astrological events.

This time approximately coincides with the Winter Solstice in the North Hemisphere with the longest night of the year, and the Summer Solstice in the South Hemisphere with the longest day of the year, when the Sun enters Capricorn. Then, the Sun seems to be still for about three days before restarting its journey North. From the Astrological point of view, it’s about the Sun aligning with the Galactic Center at 27 of Sagittarius. The Galactic center is where everything dies and everything births.  There resides our essence source, the place where we all come from. Call it G.O.D. (generator, organizer, destroyer), Creator, High Spirit, Truth, Father, it is the Origin.

“The Galactic center is that black hole at the very hub of our galaxy, this star cluster surrounds the Milky Way's central supermassive black hole, which is about 4 million times the mass of our sun.[...] The galaxy’s nucleus (marked) is home to a central, supermassive black hole called Sagittarius A-star.” NASA Mar 31,2016

This exact conjunction falls at the end of Sagittarius, the sign of Higher Knowledge. It’s relevant to take a look at what Sagittarius represents as an archetype. Sagittarius gives us beliefs, opens our mind to a higher understanding of reality, broadens our horizons. It represents spiritual development, cultural diversity, faith and hope, goodwill and compassion, passion for life, adventure, discovery of new things, places and ideas, search for truth and justice, learning about the big picture. It’s optimism, inspiration, big ideas, projects and ideologies.

The Sun at the Galactic Center at 27 Sagittarius let us enter that open door to all of that, is our yearly opportunity to connect with our spiritual essence, to look up for inspiration and believe in a better life for all. We become more optimistic about our ideals, want to birth a new life, or a new way of living. We feel benevolent, are more inclined to give, and concerned about those who don’t have enough. Our soul feels this refreshing breeze of renewal that helps us see further than our tangible present and into a better more hopeful future. We feel more confident about the probability of our dreams coming true. We feel that equanimity, goodwill, justice and living the truth are possible. It’s our time to renew the vows with our own soul, because we start thinking that is possible to be who we feel we really, really, really ARE, even while attached to Earth.

We may receive downloads of understanding, new ideas, and inspiration that may change, modify or completely transform our belief system, or open up our mind to something we had never thought about. This can happen through reading, listening to or watching a message, program, movie, or just in a casual conversation with a person we meet for the first time. Old ideas may yield a new meaning as well.
To gain some perspective, imagine that the planets do not travel around the Sun in concentric perfect ecliptics, rather they travel as a whole system around the Galactic Center among innumerable other systems, therefore, the rotations are in fact helicoidal.

If your natal chart has planets, or angles at or close to the 27 of Sagittarius, you are more likely to feel it more intensely. If there are hard aspects (conjunctions, squares, oppositions) you may feel the pull to change directions in some way indicated by the other planets, houses and signs. For example, if it falls on your IC (4th house) your emotions may be heightened or your family life highlighted with good vibes. If it falls on your AC (1st house) your whole personality can feel rejuvenated with newness and the desire to elevate your goals.

This year, we have some “bonuses” added to this wonderful energy. Venus and Neptune are in a harmonious relationship. With Neptune being a higher level of Venus (Love), their contact can spark a really beautiful stardust on relationships. They are positively supported by Saturn, which in fact makes the dream come true. Also, with Mercury joining Jupiter in Sagittarius, communications can be grandiose, but we may miss important details, and overlook practical matters. Therefore, the advice is to be careful, realistic and keep grounded, because at the same time we have a treacherous planetary relationship involving the Giant of the Solar System.

Jupiter transiting its home of Sagittarius is still in an active square to Neptune also at home in Pisces. Planets 'at home' are extra powerful. The challenge with them is becoming aware of our high idealism, probably seeing a situation through rose-colored glasses, while feeling exhilarated with unconditional love, exceptional optimism or enthusiasm about something. It’s the case of Don Quixote meeting his princess, Dulcinea del Toboso, who in reality was just a regular peasant girl from the countryside. For example, if those fall in your 11th and 2d house, it may mean that you feel overenthusiastic about the value of your contribution to your social group or network; or that high recognition or advancement received from your career over inflates your ego. If in the 4th and 7th, you may feel overoptimistic about a long-term partner, or you may think so high of him or her that you decide it is time he or she moves in with you, only to find out later that you’ve deceived yourself.  This aspect is active for a longtime, and it is exact January 13, June 16 and September 21, 2019.

Remember, with the Lunar Nodes shift to the Cancer-Capricorn Axis, we are looking for balance between societal conventions, public status, performance, activities and goals and our more private anchor of emotional comfort and safety. Therefore, the Cancer nodes is pulling us towards anything that will make our life more emotionally fulfilling, and there is a tendency to hide inside ourselves or wherever we consider home. This energy will be active for about 18 months total.

As I always say, the transiting energies are not isolated, but constantly affecting your natal chart depending on the natal planetary contacts they make. Therefore, it may affect each individual differently and uniquely. If you would like to know exactly how things will work out for you, please contact me for a reading at satsangatyoga@gmail.com.
