Here in Austin, Texas, the land was once the bottom of the sea. The soil today is mostly limestone in layers like pancakes. In some places those have been carved by water creating ancient phreatic tables or caves when the running rain water moved a lot in circles. Sometimes people get a surprise hole even under their property, or under the street or any other structure, because the excessive rain ends up weakening the layers that finally sink down. That's the power of water. It can be so soft that can wash your face, but it can be so persistent that can penetrate the rocks, right?

During 18 months, the Lunar Nodes have been carving our life so hard that now, we may implode... or explode!  I hope you've read my recents blog posts about the Lunar Nodes traveling through the Leo-Aquarius Axis. If you didn't I invite you to do it, because to understand this crucial Full Moon today, we should have understood what the Lunar Nodes have been trying to tell us for the last 18 months. This is also a life cycle that we started 18.5 years ago, when the Lunar Nodes were on that axis last time. If you can remember what happened in your life in 1999-2000, what all the eclipses brought to your life then is coming to a close now. There's been a different situation, conditions, events, process for each of us. Take a look at my post where I explain the themes for each sign. 

Why this Full Moon is so crucial, I think? One of the reasons is because it triggers a Grand Cross, squaring the Lunar Nodes. The Sun and the Moon are the big Luminaries that show us truth, bring clear understanding by illuminating the houses where they fall (Scorpio and Taurus fall in different places on every person's Birth Chart). For example, for Leo and Aquarius (the most affected signs of the zodiac with this Full Moon), the Sun and Moon, Father and Mother, will cast this shining light on the axis of the most public life and the most private life (which are 10th and 4th houses respectively). For them, those are the challenged areas, where something comes to a close, or needs to be changed,  under the undeniable shining light. No easy task, though. The Grand Cross falls on the 4 FIXED signs of the Zodiac, Leo, Aquarius, Scorpio and Taurus, those that don't like change, and are often times so stubborn. 

In order to achieve what the North Node is pushing us towards, and use the skills learned in the past from the South Node (see the previous post), we need this last kick in the rear end. Here is where the magic comes! Because the ruler of the North Node, the Sun in Scorpio, is opposite the ruler of the South Node, Uranus in Taurus. I see the two Titans showing spears face to face. As I always say, opposites attract... but they also repel! The Sun in Astrology represents our personal authority, power, yang or masculine energy that drives our personality, our self confidence, ambition and happiness. Whereas Uranus is the higher level of the mind, the sparks of insight coming from the Heavens, the altruism, the electrical rebellion, the revolution. Uranus is the lightening bolt that changes everything in the blink of an eye. It comes suddenly and unexpected, bringing renewal, freedom and the need for innovation. Imagine what this clash will provoke today or during this Lunar cycle, in your own life according to where it falls in your Natal Chart! 

There are other helpers in the struggle. Venus and Mars, respective rulers of the Moon and the Sun, because Venus rules Taurus and Mars, Scorpio. They are in a harmonious 72 degree aspect that supports the process. However, Mars is the strongest, because is direct, while Venus is shy hiding in retrograde motion under the close rays of the burning Sun. Again, draw your conclusions, because Mars is the muscle of the zodiac, the physical feat, the action and assertiveness, if not aggressiveness and violence... and it's transiting the sign of Aquarius where he had conjuncted the South Node three times a while ago.  

Mercury is talking big in conference with Jupiter. In agreement with Pluto, you can imagine what they are talking about. Yes, they are exposing the most deepest secrets of your life. What was hidden in your subconscious, or unconscious is coming up for you to SEE and make a good riddance so you can move ahead in the direction Leo North Node is showing. 

All the energies are working to guide us and show us the way to our best SELF, our best life, our best choices, a highest level of happiness. Events can happen in the blink of an eye, and we may be confused, like in a natural catastrophe, earthquake or hurricane, but even if we lose a big part of our identity (Sun), it's just a part that is in decay, the digested pieces that we need to purge. Coincidentally, we start the Scorpio season, Fall time, when Nature is letting go of what is no longer needed to go to sleep for a while. We see trees around us getting naked, retiring inside to brew the new life that they will create next Spring. Let us ride the energy smoothly, knowing that the Universe works for our own wellbeing.

Grand Cross in Fixed Signs - October 2018

This month, the Moon, Mercury, Venus and the Sun are parading across Uranus retrograde in Taurus, through the first degrees of Scorpio, squaring simultaneously the Lunar Nodal Axis.

The four signs involved in the Grand Cross are the Zodiac Stubborn. The hold the highest of each season, the hottest of the Summer, the coldest of the Winter, the most beautiful of the Spring, the sharpest of the Fall. They're famous for not giving in.

Here comes Uranus, the electric Lord of Lightening, striking the massive Earth in Taurus, sending its burning beams of power across the Zodiac into the house of the Stinger.

Emotions were stirred up a couple of days right after the New Moon in 15º Libra on October 8th, when She had to face the unexpected wrath coming from Uranus. Then came Mercury running fast to bring the resulting message from a deep research down in a the dungeons of Hades. He's followed by the most beautiful lady of the Zodiac, who's coming back slowly and nonchalantly to her house of Libra where she apparently forgot something. Only that before getting there, she has to walk under the unforgiving rays of the Supreme Captain of our Ship, the Sun, who may singe her a bit, but most of all, will recharge her batteries, make her stronger and more daring on the way. When Venus then arrives home, she'll show her power to convince!

Meanwhile, the Rahu and Ketu receive the strokes as well, or send their fated demands to the houses where the challenge is striking. Rahu, the North Node of the Moon, is pulling us to become more generous, to reorient our hearts in the direction of our true identity, to follow our feelings in making decisions, and encouraging us develop leadership qualities. Ketu, the South Node of the Moon, is asking us to let go of the mooring line, to drop the hindrance of our unhealthy attachments, not to trust so much in our rational mind, but consult our heart more often.  (For more on this, read my previous article on the Leo/Aquarius Nodal Axis.) This tension is triggered by the opposing planets. Something's got to give...

The Mythology of your astrological Natal Chart

How the Myths in Astrology help us understand who we are, where we come from and where we go.

Childbirth is one of -if not The- most transformational events in a woman's -and to a certain extent man's- life. Seven months after having my first baby, I fell into the post partum depression, my hair starting to fall in handfuls, I couldn't gain weight, and so many other things that I had to undergo therapy. Then, I learned about a psychotherapy technique using imagery and archetypes. The patient is guided on a journey to the underworld, the unconscious, visualizing what he/she encounters on the road. This works as a guided tour into understanding yourself.

What does that have in common with the traditional children stories read in childhood, the same ones that I read to my own children later? They show images that have a meaning. The images that the person 'sees' in the mind's eye are charged with the meaning that the individual ascribe to them. Those are representations of what is hidden in the unconscious, or subconscious. The archetypes of the children stories have an already set of meanings from the collective unconsciousness. Both, imagery psychotherapy and fairy tales are equally useful to help the person reveal who she/he really is inside. They work in different ways, one reveals from inside, the other from the external world, still both reflect conceptions, emotions, representations of stuff ingrained in the person's identity. The technique works as a movie projected on a screen.  Once those images are created in the mind, the patient is able to discover him/herself by describing them. Reading fairy tales or myths, one's unconscious is projected on the story making the detachment possible.

When I was studying for my Masters in French, I became fascinated with the genre of myths, legends and traditional story tales from the old times. I dug into the most ancient versions available of our classic tales, like Red Riding Hood and such. In the beginning they were not children stories, in fact they were like the adult TV shows of the times. Some of them pretty intense and gruesome. I ended up learning that those sometimes shocking stories worked as psychological therapy then. They helped people sitting around the home hearth in the cold winter evenings -dark nights of the soul- to process their most intimate fears, phobias, passions, and conflictive traumas.

Astrology is tightly related to Mythology. Knowing the language of Astrology, one understands the messages those iconic mythological characters give us personally, individually as they are designed in our own unique Birth Chart. Let me show you an example in a chart.

This is the chart of today's transits at my location. Please look at the arrow pointing to the left to a green glyph representing Taurus with the number 10º 47'. That line represents the Ascendant, the Rising Sign on the Eastern Horizon at the moment of one's birth. The sign of Taurus gives the main personality and mission for that Soul for this incarnation. It's ruled by Venus. She is in the opposite sign of Scorpio, in a debilitated position because she is the farthest she can be from her home, even though she also rules the contiguous sign of Libra. In any case, she is in the house of Mars and Pluto. 

Now imagine the Goddess of Love, beauty, sweet, delicate, refined, romantic, well mannered, love giving, seductively gorgeous, sitting in the living room with Mars, the warrior, all covered in armor, sweaty and smelly from the battle, aggressive, forceful, violent at times, and with Pluto, or Hades, the Lord of the Underworld, the same one who kidnapped, raped and kept captive Persephone as his "wife". Colorful painting, right? 

What kind of Taurean personality would you think this person born today will have? Also, the 7th house of Scorpio represents his/her longterm relationships, the type of person with whom she/he will associate with a higher level of trust. There, together with Venus, we find another visitor to an unlikely house, Jupiter. He can be wise and spiritual, full of knowledge and understanding of higher concepts, but he also likes to exaggerate things a bit too much. With Jupiter there, the picture I described previously is augmented 300 times. Can you see what kind of partner, she/he may have?

Venus was a very nice lady, right? The Greeks called her Aphrodite, she was so beautiful that she was said to have seduced Mars and had children with him. In Astrology, Venus behaves differently depending on the place where she is in her travel around the Sun. She could be behind him or ahead, even though she does not go too far away. If she travels ahead of the Sun she's called Phosphorous, the Light Bearer or Morning Star. Then she is more outgoing, extroverted, more intense. When she travels after the Sun, she's called Hesperus or Evening Star, and she behaves more feminine, her feelings are more reserved, more receptive. In this chart Venus is Aphrodite or Evening Star. This trait describes the nature of the person's Yin energy -regardless of being a male of female. And in a man's chart, Venus describes the kind of woman he will be attracted to. This person can be shy and reserved in love, but may attract a partner that is dominant, jealous, and even aggressive, able to totally transform his/her life.

There are many other factors to consider about Venus the ruler of this person's chart when describing exactly what kind of Venus energy it gives. Because in this case, Venus is also Stationary Retrograde, she is antagonizing with Mars, in a somewhat disharmony with Saturn, she makes loose harmonious connections with Neptune, the Lord of the Oceans, and the Moon. All of that gives Venus a very particular personality, unique to her this day, at this time, in this town.  

I'm sure you have read legends, stories and myths in childhood, and you probably read them also again and again once you learned how to read. There is something in them that draw us close to a mirror where we can see ourselves reflected. I think that's why they are so appealing and we like them so much. Bruno Bettelheim in his work "The Uses of Enchantment" says that "There is a general agreement that myths and fairy tales speak to us in the language of symbols representing unconscious content" (pg. 36). 

In my approach to Astrology, I sustain that its mythology is the aspect that helps people to understand themselves, individually, to find out their uniqueness. The story telling of those archetypes is what explains our deepest psychological blueprint. Understanding them is opening the door to the most essential answers we seek: why am I here? who am I? what am I doing? where am I going? why this is me? "Modern thinkers who have studied myths and fairy tales from a philosophical or psychological viewpoint arrive at the same conclusion", Bettelheim states. And after quoting Mircea Eliade, he adds "Drawing on anthropological parallels, he and others suggest that myths and fairy tales were derived from, or give symbolic expression to, initiation rites or other rites of passage -such as a metaphoric death of an old, inadequate self in order to be reborn on a higher plane of existence" (pg.35).

This is the perspective our personal astrology gives us. We incarnate again and again, initiating a 'new life', a new cycle of 'seasons' (birth, development, decay and death) in order to better what we've done in previous ones, to change and repair what went wrong before, to have new experiences that progressively elevate our Soul to a higher state. The symbolism in our birth chart is the language that gives us the clues of what happened before, what we decided to do this time around, what is our goal and what kind of work we chose to do to achieve it. "This amounts to saying that initiatory scenarios -even camouflaged, as they are in fairy tales- are the expression of a psychodrama that answers a deep need in the human being" (Mircea Eliade).

Discovering the Myths in our personal Birth Chart can be greatly revealing. We can have insights into our consciousness as well as our unconsciousness. We can develop understanding of the reasons why we make certain choices, like certain partners, develop certain eating habits, choose a certain career, and many other life decisions. A new perspective on things can help us change direction when we're not happy about those. Deep inside the cocoon? Pluto in the 12th house

If you have an Aquarius rising, Moon or Sun friend, spouse, family member or acquaintance, be compassionate! Pluto is transiting their 12 house in Capricorn.

The 12th house in the Natal Chart is everything that the native can't see. It is his or her spiritual, psychological, hidden nature, the side not shown in public. From dreams to secluded places, it includes the whole range of intangible realms.

Pluto is the recycler planet of the Zodiac. Pluto destroys to recreate. Pluto is the caterpillar that becomes a butterfly, the Phoenix rising from the ashes. Pluto is life and death, dying and rebirth, the regeneration process of life, He rules the life cycle, the becoming of the Seasons.

Please look for the number 12 on the green circle in this chart. That's the 12th house. The green glyph near the degree number for the planets inside the house means Capricorn. In this chart, Pluto is that red symbol in the inside circle, in the 12th house, that looks like a little man with the arms up, all head and small body. Today it's at 18º ♑️51' retrograde (Rx).

What does it mean to have Darth Vader (Pluto!) on your nape? Not only He's been there for some time already, since January 27, 2008, but He'll stay there until January 2024. He digs deep, very deep into the dark side of life, into the very profound underworld of the Soul. Specifically for Aquarius, it actually feels like a Surgeon cutting ever so deep into your subconscious, even unconscious psychology. He brings out ancient traumas form this life's childhood, and even from past lives, onto the light for you to see, process and get rid of. He's a ruthless Surgeon who, sometimes, operates without 'anesthetics'.

Pluto has been bringing to your life painful issues triggered by power struggles in relationships. You may have encountered people who brought up taboo issues, who unveiled your addictions, your attachments, sexual traumas, and other weak spots in your psychology. Some people, situations or events may have entered your life through your place of work or some illness (6th house) only to mirror your deeply hidden weaknesses. You may have found yourself fighting that enemy. However, the enemy is not that person, situation or illness, but your own secret enemy, that repressed trauma or self-undoing behavior hindering your identity. Pluto was the Roman God Hades, Lord of the Underworld, where all riches were hidden. He rules the wealth of the Soul. Before the Aquarius person discovers his or her Soul Wealth (true Identity) he or she has to go 'under', see all the dark, face his or her terrifying fear, develop the courage of destruction. Pluto also rules decomposition and the rot, because He recycles.

This transit may manifest in different ways. The native may feel the increased need for isolation, contemplation, reflexion, or can fall into desperation, depression, addictions trying to avoid the fear.  Others can find themselves in need of help and guidance, looking for a psychologist, psychiatrist, spiritual guide or counselor of any kind. Addictions can get so severe that the person can feel the need for rehabilitation. In other cases, the process can be so unconscious that the person doesn't even realize what's going on. It's usually the case for people who have lived unaware of their emotionally repressive mode, generally drowning them with alcohol or another addictive substance or behavior. In order to get the most benefit of Pluto transit in the 12th house, the development of awareness is highly advised. Meditation, yoga, spiritual practice and therapy are some tools that can be used.

Other ways this Pluto transit can manifest are compulsive isolation, having a Plutonic person enter their life, like a Scorpio rising or a person with a strong Pluto in their chart, usually in their 7th house of mirrors. The person to whom this chart I show here belongs to, is an elderly woman. Her case is very interesting, because she kept very traumatic sexual events from her childhood suppressed. She never did therapy, and she's been psychologically 'drowning' all her life. Holding to a spiritual practice with iron fists in the late part of her life she projected her unresolved issues onto others, usually with a very critical approach, like condemning herself on the other. Until one day, a caregiver entered her everyday life and they started sharing 'stuff'. It was a volcanic eruption, or more so like a putrefied cyst cut open. There was crying for days, asking for forgiveness left and right, confession interviews with spiritual leaders, the great unload! For this kind of process, one needs the help of a  professional, because one needs to learn how to fill the void with new and positive people, circumstances, events, otherwise, the suffering can linger infinitely making the person dwell in it.

This person was also forced to seclusion in a nursing home (12th house places), where all her time is spent in unavoidable reflection and contemplation. Her spiritual practice was entirely 'decomposed' to the point that she doesn't want to attend the church anymore. She abandoned her habit of reading and over-reading the Scriptures to the point of memorization. As I explained before, this is the sign of Pluto's destruction of things that don't serve you anymore.

Other Aquarius may feel more inclined to long distant travel into very different cultures, or secret trips abroad, long stays in ashrams, monasteries, or artistic expression. For some, it could be so serious that they end up in prison for past crimes that are now in the open, or hospitalized for serious hidden mysterious conditions, usually related to unresolved psychological imbalance that they psycho-somatize. Your dreams can be very vivid and give you 'revelations'. It really depends on the person's life circumstances, and how big the psychological issues are. Others still feel the need to research secrets, occult or taboo topics, or to develop psychic abilities.

For most people I think it is great that Saturn comes along at this time, transiting Capricorn from behind Pluto. Even more beneficial if you happen to have your natal Saturn there, in the 12th house. As you see in the picture above. She has her natal Saturn at 17º. When Pluto transited over the natal Saturn, it destroyed the old fears, old secret structures of the Soul, old psychological, and spiritual structures that don't serve her anymore. Once the Transit Saturn comes over the Natal Saturn, he will reconstruct them, giving her new parameters, new spiritual boundaries for her Soul. This is called the Saturn Return. He comes along first time between the ages of 28 and 30, second time between 56 and 58, and in her case this is her third Return. Saturn cycle is 29.5 years. If you happen to be around those ages, take a look at your chart, or order your Astrological Reading, I can tell you how Saturn is affecting you, in which area of your life it will help you restructure and build new boundaries, and get rid of karma.

Coming back to the discovery of the suppressed or hidden Soul 'Wealth' in this Pluto 'quest', Aquarius can be made aware that even though this is a long a painful process, Pluto is preparing for them to rise back up from the underworld again as the Phoenix.  After 2024, when Pluto enters their 1st house of identity and their 'persona', they will find a new way of being, a new Self. Pluto will transit Aquarius for about 2 decades to make sure the Identity reconstruction is thoroughly done.

As you can see, Pluto transits are just once in a lifetime, because the whole cycle takes 248 years. So Aquarius can feel special for this 'dark touch', that will clean their Soul of debris. In my astrological opinion, Aquarius are very special ancient and wise Souls present on Earth now with a huge responsibility. That is the reason why they have to go through such hardships and deepest transformations. You are the agents and builders of the Age of Aquarius. You're not just living in the physical plane, but you're creating in your mind a new realm of life, a new future physical plane.

The courage to become who we really are. Leo Eclipse in Leo 18º

The last push of the Leo / Aquarius Lunar Nodal Axis.

We've lived all our lives believing to be this and now we are shown to be THAT. The Leo/Aquarius Lunar Nodal Axis since May 9, 2017 has started a process of helping us evolve from one identity into another in a particular area of our life. The North Node in Leo has pulled us to empower ourselves while the South Node in Aquarius pushes out of our life everything that it's not working anymore for us. This axis is like the drain and the replenishment that goes around the zodiac cleaning and rejuvenating us, opening our consciousness to understand why we came to Earth this time around. And at the same time we recognize and understand what past lives karma we need to get rid of in order to accomplish that goal.

Here are some guidelines of what you might have been experiencing during the last year and a half according to your Rising Sign -to a lesser extent, Sun and Moon. In order to know your Rising Sign, you need your exact TIME of birth. Go to astro.com or to astrowin.org and input your info. The Rising Sign appears as AC in the chart, and it is the Eastern most point, located on left of the horizontal axis where the House 1 starts. It represents the Sign that was rising on the Eastern Horizon at the exact time of your birth. That sign has defined your innate personality, the way you show up -incarnated- in the world.

The Sun Sign may also be considered for this interpretation. However, the Sun Sign rules more the things, events, situations, conditions, decisions that you choose, generally after 30 or 35 years old, when your Ego starts to define who you really want to be.

The Moon Sign is also important, since it represents your emotional mind, the way you innately react to life events, people and circumstances.

In any of these three cases, the houses are counted from the one where the AC, Sun or Moon are located. For example, if your Moon is in Capricorn, 7th house, you'd count that house as the 1st house. In this case, Aquarius South Node was transiting the 2d house (own resources) from your Moon, Leo North Node was transiting your 8th house (shared resources) from your Moon. You calculate the same way starting from the position of your Sun or AC.

Here are the interpretations of the Leo/Aquarius Nodal Axis transit by sign. However, it would have been different or somewhat combined with other transformations depending on the totality of your personal Natal Chart, which is UNIQUE for every person. All the planets, angles and points play a role in the person's chart. Additionally, there are other astrological calculations than Transits, such as Progressions, Solar Arcs, Resonances, etc. that have other nuances to contribute. A serious Astrologer takes many calculations into consideration before giving a reading.

One more and very important factor to consider is that the Cosmic energies affect and impel our own energy field, but we are FREE to use them one way or another. For example, you live in a flood zone, your house is flooded, you loose everything (energy out of your control); now you have choices to make; you can rebuild in the same place, you can restart from scratch in a new place, you can fall deep into desperation, you can start a community living project, etc. You are the commander in chief of your life. Very often we realize that events, people and circumstances come to our lives just to provoke us into actions that in the end will define who we want to be. This way, we can't ever say "I am a victim of this or that". We are what we choose to be. And even if actions are provoked by external happenings, the outcome comes ultimately from our decisions. Look at some notorious examples of people like Ghandi, Oprah, Nelson Mandela.

North Node in Leo / South Node in Aquarius

Aries rising sign, Sun or Moon, had to focus in creating their own happiness, looking for it in romance, in their creativity, discovering a new creative expression. Some decided to start dancing, partying, painting, acting, eating in restaurants, going to nightclubs, having children, or just having fun by themselves. On the other hand, they had to leave behind their old tribe, old networks of people who were not going with them. They broke outdated alliances, abandoned organizations, old dreams and wishes that had already served their purpose.

Taurus rising sign, Sun or Moon, were asked to change their personality at home. They started shining their light on their emotional and physical stability, security, and coziness. They have been looking to build the feathery happy nest that can contain their most intimate comfort. For that purpose some may even have moved homes and found a happier place where they could blossom, al the while putting aside issues about their career, public life and reputation, and all their performance out in the world.

Gemini rising sign, Sun or Moon,  underwent a process of evolution in their way of thinking, communicating, learning, maybe doing business, or learning new skills of any kind. Their mind has changed personality, it's now happier, more radiant and ready to shine. They may find themselves reading, writing, and exchanging ideas left and right, more active in social media, answering more emails than usually. At the same time, they have to let of outdated belief systems, concerns with foreign people, countries, places. Maybe even they renounce or dropped out from higher education pursuits. If they had teachers, gurus, religious leaders, they now are ready to let them go and their philosophies, and ideas. They prefer to be close to home, with siblings, roaming around the city and learning first hand from the immediate world.

Cancer rising sign, Sun or Moon, is happier with a new radiant self esteem, they learned about their self worth, they may have increased their personal earnings, and may have ended up with a fatter bank account. But also, they may have gained weight having so much fun eating whatever they liked non stop. Their values -moral and material- are on the spotlight for review and restatement. They are draining the money that they had from other people; their conjoint account with business or personal partners may have gotten thinner, as well as, maybe, their sexual activity. They may have ended paying mortgages or spending the rest of their heritage. Traumas, and life crises are out of the picture by now; no more digging into the dark matters of life.

For Leos, Sun or Moon, their focus had been enhancing their persona, shining bright their heart in the way they show up, their physical appearance, and their whole personality. They have increased their charisma, they look more attractive, no matter where they are or what they do. They're happier with their body, their personality because they have been cultivating their own spirit, their own ways. This reminds me of Frank Sinatra's "My way", ha ha. At the same time, they have been impelled to let go of partnerships that put them down, and don't value them. They now stopped caring about what 'the other' may think or do, with a "take me or leave me" attitude. I am what I am, if you like me, stay, if you don't, leave! Although, I have to say, that Leo's have had it really hard, having to stand by themselves, and learning to do things by themselves not being able to count on 'the other'. Used to be the King of the Jungle, they always expected others to be there for them and be their 'vassals'. This way, they have gained in strength and total personal independence.

Virgo rising sign, Sun or Moon, had to completely change their daily routines and lifestyle. They don't want to fix things -or people, situations- anymore, don't pay more attention to health issues, pets are not important anymore, or if they had one that was very important in their lives, they may have said goodbye to it one way or another. They also  have let go of conflicts, even ended a certain specific argument, especially at work, with coworkers or service people. They are now more focused on their spiritual life, or they have traveled to far away places. Maybe they have shone light on their secret concerns or sorrows, discovered or been made aware of hidden enemies undermining them, like people doing things behind their backs or their own self-undoing. Addictions may have come to light as well to have them work actively on getting rid of them. Some may have shone light on their karma or started a selfless service project of some sort.

Libra rising sign, Sun or Moon, were asked to go for their dreams and wishes, to gather with a new 'tribe', to find their new social nest where they really can feel happy, instead of looking for happiness in their own creative expressions, and just having fun by themselves, or just keeping busy with their children. They saw their romantic life fade away, their artistic talents only shown in their performance groups. Their children are not the center of attention anymore, maybe they are out of the house into the world, starting their studies, their own family or career. Libras are now finding their social environment where they can build connections or alliances and feel happy among friends.

Scorpio rising sign, Sun or Moon, have been focusing on their own public reputation, either through career, any public function out in the world, or changing their civil status. Events and opportunities had them thrilled at making decisions about they way they are seen active in society. All the while they have been less attentive to their inner, personal emotional foundation, their home and family environment has taken backseat. They are out there to be seen and to shine on stage.

Sagittarius rising sign, Sun or Moon, had been traveling abroad, meeting strangers, foreign people, other cultures, learning new thing, speaking other languages. Or maybe they are shining the spotlight on their Higher Studies, went on to Graduate Studies, or follow their incline to investigate a new belief system, adopted a new religious or spiritual philosophy. Maybe they acquired a new teacher or became teachers themselves. Other may have ventured into publishing. At the same time they distanced themselves from siblings, relatives, neighbors, classmates, team mates, and the city environment they were accustomed to frequent.

Capricorn rising sign, Sun or Moon, as earnest as they are, they have been pulled into shaking transmutations of any kind, some have been touched by the soft hand of a newborn, others by cold hand of death, or a traumatic regeneration of some sort. Some may have had their first sexual experience. Others could have had an intense psychic awakening, or kundalini rising that has opened the invisible world to their six sense. Still others may have joined resources with a personal or business partner, taken a loan, or received a heritage. Less attention was given to their personal values, moral or financial, to their possessions, and their own bank account in favor of a joint one. Also they have focused away from their body, its energy, and what they eat.

Aquarius rising sign, Sun or Moon, together with Leos,  and probably more than them, were the hardest hit, because they had to let go of their own outdated image they had built for themselves in the last 19 years since the Nodes were in Leo/Aquarius last time between 1999 and 2000. Remember your decisions then? Who you wanted to be, the new identity -freedom flavored, most probably- you decided to take at that time? Well, you have already extracted all its juice by now. It's been a time for a new persona to be born. Aquariuses now have a new idea of themselves to identify with. Maybe they have been considering a new physical image, a new way to show up, new personal style or appearance. They are ready to let go of their old -selfish, standoffish, aloof- skin because their focus now is their partner, whom they want to make happy. They want to be the best for him or her, so they can count on each other to be happy together in an equal exchange. Huge step for Aquarius who can love everybody as friends, but normally, please don't ask them to tie the knot, or 'lose' their freedom. Bravo!

Pisces rising sign, Sun or Moon, have been working really hard on letting go of old psychological, karmic and subconscious baggage, abandoning their undoing, escapist and addictive behaviors, and the tendency to isolation. They have stopped fighting their hidden 'enemies', whatever those were. Instead, they have been called to keep an eye on and do something about their health, daily routines, fixing what is out of order, in themselves and around. Maybe, they have needed at one time or another to attend to a pet, develop a closer relationship with it or take a better care of it. They have been letting go of addictions, to regain their physical strength and health. They have probably started a new diet or exercise program. In order to do repairs, they certainly have been dealing with service staff, that helped them rearrange things around the house and by the way gave them the opportunity to do some deeper cleaning under the fridge and under the pieces of furniture they had to move. Decluttering the closet and the forgotten cabinets was also possible.

One more detail about this analysis that I clarify here. It is based on a Whole House/Sign system of calculation, which means that every House only contains one Sign. However, the most usual system used in Western Astrology is Placidus, that takes into account the time zones, longitude and latitude of the birthplace. With Placidus system, the lines dividing Houses may fall in the middle of a Sign, then the Lunar Nodal Axis may have transited two houses occupied by one Sign. This means that the subsequent Eclipses may have fallen one time in one house another time in the next or previous one.

Let's see an example. Each House has 30 degrees. My Sign of Leo is split into the 11th and 12th Houses at 11 degrees. Therefore, some of the Eclipses fell on the 12th house, others on the 11th. Take a look at your chart to find out how Leo and Aquarius look like there. You'll discover that the eclipses affected more than two areas of your life, maybe actually four.  Both recommended websites to draw the chart offer the option to choose Placidus or Whole House (even other systems of calculation).

When I do your personal Natal Chart reading, I use Placidus, which is very accurate. Although, I also use Whole House calculation for other complementary studies if you ask for them.
