New Moon in Gemini June 3, 2019

A New Moon is a Sun Moon conjunction, the Sun light doesn’t allow us to see the Moon, and it represents the beginning of a new Moon Cycle. In Gemini, the New Moon activates the Air quality, which is the intellectual activity. It represents a new stimulation in the domain of the mind, thinking, communication, information, skills, relationships with people in our immediate daily environment like siblings, classmates, neighbors in Gemini’s natural house, or in the house Gemini falls in your personal chart. At the same time, it’s also a completion of what we have experienced in the previous lunar cycle.

We have been experiencing mind fogginess so far, with a combination of Mercury in Gemini square Neptune in Pisces and opposite Jupiter in Sagittarius. Jupiter with his enthusiasm and optimism was lost in the big picture. Mercury busy speeding up in Gemini, his own home, was lost in the details. None of them had a clear understanding of what was going on in reality. Look at the Pisces house on your own chart to find out where exactly was your mind seeing things in pink, with Neptune rose-colored glasses.

With this New Moon opposing Jupiter -even though in a wide orb-, we start to see profiles taking shape. It’s not until the Moon detaches from the Sun a few more degrees, and that she opposes exactly Jupiter that more light is shed on the issues at hand. Hopefully, we finally can start seeing clearer in the middle of the information fog. Will Jupiter help us learn the truth? Or will Neptune still wear his rose-colored glasses?

In our personal Chart, we should focus on the 4th leg of the T-square, the Virgo house. There is where we can rebalance the instability. Virgo is the grounding Earth element that is missing and the place where we can turn to find answers. Contrary to Pisces with its rose-colored glasses, Virgo is the 'reading glasses', so to speak, that can show the reality.

The New Moon is also making a karmic quintile, with Chiron. This gives a very creative energy that increases the healing process Chiron is doing in Aries. It helps us by speeding up our growth regarding the feelings of inadequacy and vulnerability of our personality and uniqueness. You can read my blog posts about Chiron in Aries. This aspect with the New Moon is an open door leading to a new perspective on our identity healing. The healing process can mean literally the physical healing of a head injury if Aries is your Rising Sign.

Venus in Taurus is barely separating from the trine with Pluto in Capricorn. This means that the intensity in love, and the transformation of values will eventually start to fade away, just for a time until Venus reaches the opposition. So far, our feminine energy has been empowered, we felt that we can easily control the desires, we have a hold of our finances in a beneficial way. The progressive and relentless transformation in the house marked by Capricorn received a benevolent support from a very stable loving agent, Venus feeling at home in Taurus, be it in the form of another person, a financial situation, or new pleasurable circumstances.

Venus Trine Pluto, marked with green lines on the chart, is nicely supported by a T-sextile with Neptune at the apex. Neptune adds its dreamy, inspired imagination, unconditional love for all concerned, helping us see how the situation or interaction benefits everybody involved. Even though Neptune can have the tendency to escape to the clouds of imagination or even hallucinations, this time, it's also sextile Saturn, which brings it back to the dirt of physical reality. Our dreams may now have a chance to be realized.

Chiron receives also the Uranian influence of a semi sextile. I wrote last week about it as well. Uranus, a little constraint in Taurus, diverts his discomfort with Chiron into a very detached and impersonal escape.

Jupiter is backtracking to make a square with Neptune again June 16, but I will talk about this in the June Full Moon article.

We shouldn’t forget the major influence on this chart, one that lasts, and is very strong, all year long, Saturn Pluto conjunction and the South Node. They are dismantling and rebuilding the house occupied by Capricorn in your chart. Pluto, already in the last third of the Sign, has done most of the work, although, he will keep at it without truce until 2024, 5 more years. Pluto and Saturn have so far, helped us get rid of unconscious conditionings, family lineage baggage, and probably past life karmic imprints. Pluto has certainly destroyed and decomposed anything there that doesn’t serve you anymore. He’s the vulture in Nature cleaning dead carcasses to the bones. We will be left with the bare bones of that house structure, there is no more room for superficiality. When Saturn comes back direct, with his strict discipline and patience, he will help us rebuild new structures, boundaries, and a new reality.

The North Node in Cancer is the compass we should use to navigate our ship to a safe port. So, don’t dwell on Capricorn, look rather for comfort, support, shelter, home and family feelings in the zodiac house occupied by Cancer. There is healing there.

A chart that was mostly Earth (Capricorn and Taurus) and Water (Cancer and Pisces), with just a pinch of Fire (Aries and Sagittarius), has now enough Air (Gemini) to make sense of it all. So far we have been dealing with the emotions about practical issues. We already realized that when we are overwhelmed by emotions, our mind is confused. Now that the Sun, the Moon and Mercury are in Gemini we got the 'light bulb' lit! Remember, your planets or points in the house of Virgo (also ruled by Mercury) can help you get out of the confusion rut. Becoming aware of the energy dynamics of the cosmos is an amazing tool to navigate life. Make sure you use it.

Chiron in Aries and his Maverick Friend, or Foe?

Chiron semisextile Uranus

Uranus in Taurus just moved to the 4ยบ, May 18, 2019, forming now a semisextile (inconjunct) with Chiron, right before Mars reaches that degree in a few days, and squares Chiron. Even though the semisextile is considered a minor aspect, is not less powerful, especially considering Uranus rebellious nature.

Chiron in the Aries house of the chart, gives us a hard time asserting ourselves.  For details on your own house, please refer to my previous posts scrolling down the blog. Or read the Part II article.
We feel inadequate, not good enough, and very vulnerable in the Aries part of our life. Our spiritual and emotional being is often at odds with our physical existence, and we don't know how to reconcile them.

Uranus in Taurus radical influence can add one more conflict to the context. Its innovation, its eagerness to apply technology and futuristic scientific features to our body highly disturbs our physical functioning. It creates uneasiness and even disease, because the body has a hard time adjusting. For example, the highly vibrationally charged environment with electromagnetic communication waves (wi-fi, 5G) and neutrinos from the Sun affect the nervous system in yet unknown ways. We may experience anxiety, insomnia, nervousness, sudden mood changes and other more physical symptoms as well. I am conducting a study of people's charts regarding this phenomenon to correlate symptoms with natal placements. If you like to participate, please contact me by email.

Personally, Uranus semisextile Chiron has an awkward influence, that in fact can help us adjust and compensate. Our Chironic wound is a perceived limitation on us, be it in our mind and communication (3d house), relationships (7th house), career and social status (10th house), etc. depending where Aries is in the Natal Chart. This constraint makes us frustrated, disempowered, even angry, and Uranus awakes a state of uneasiness, anxiety even, making the repression evident through resistance. The rebellion of Uranus cannot accept the wound, he has to divert the submerged inadequacy and vulnerability into another channel of manifestation. Thus, a very tangible and personal problem,  can be solved in a very impersonal, shocking and abstract way.

The Uranus rebellion acts up in weird ways because one feels unfit. There is a sense of ineptitude that make us afraid and frustrated for feeling something is 'not normal'. There is an urgency to solve the conflict, but we can't do it in a conventional way because our problem is not conventional. We may even have a hard time articulating or identifying what the problem is because we feel so crippled that it might be shameful. So Uranus makes an explosion, and force us to diverge the energy by creating a solution that doesn't have to deal with the reality of the problem, or deals with it indirectly, with a detached, aloof, and sterile approach. He may even resource to groups of people with similar issues in order to pour its inventive solution out of the person's system and 'dump' it onto them.

An authentic solution may not be easy now, but Uranus is just providing another way to avoid and escape the pain. However, holding back the reactions, observing, reflecting, and becoming aware are better tools to recognize where it hurts and discover an alternative healing instead of an explosive reaction to divert it somewhere else. Try to "understand through compassion", be kind with yourself, accept that you are 'good enough' just as you are, that perfection doesn't exist, and each person is the way he or she is because we have unique missions. Love is, in fact, the source of us all. Therefore, the way to heal is through loving ourselves and others, no matter how 'dysmorphic' we feel we are or how weird we feel others are. Feelings are just feelings, they come and go, but love is always.

Examples

If Chiron is transiting your 7th house, you feel you're not being able to establish an appropriate relationship, something is out of whack, not 'normal' in the way you relate to others. Then with Uranus in your 8th, you may be repressing your wounded feelings about relationships, and channeling that submerged energy to help others transform their own traumatic alliances (financial or sexual) using internet distant and impersonal communications, videos, email, blog articles, etc.

If Chiron is transiting your 3d house and Uranus your 4th you may be remodeling or upgrading your house, because you need to channel the repressed wound of not being able to create your own family or express your yearn for a biological  home.

Chironic health care

Understanding myself and others through Astrology, and especially the Chironic influence, has made me even more compassionate to people. One understands how complex and vulnerable a person is because of the past conditioning from the family lineage and from sociocultural structures. Next time you feel judgmental about someone's actions or lifestyle, think that what you see is just the tip of the iceberg! I encourage people to become compassionate, forgiving and tolerant, and dare to be vulnerable yourselves. Remember, there is much unnamed suffering deep inside a Soul; yes, where
Chiron is. May we all have plenty of TLC for self and others.

NOTE: Planetary transits only affect us personally to the extent they make contact with our Natal or Progressed planets and points on our chart. North Node in Cancer and the Urge for Spiritual Development

Monarch completing transmutation, comes out of its chrysalis Youtube video

The Urge for Spiritual Development

Neptune in Pisces has been trine to the Moon’s North Node for some time already, and is now at 18ยบ. Neptune is the higher octave of Venus and much more! In Mythology, he is Poseidon, the God of the High Seas; in Astrology he is the ruler of Pisces, and the highest Water element. This means that Neptune gives us higher levels of intuition, imagination, sensitivity, unconditional love, inspiration and creativity, devotion and refinement. It drives our yearn for spirituality and the need to seek union with the divinity and all existence. At the same time, it could have a negative effect, especially if we are not in tune with those energies because of spiritual immaturity. Then with his psychic overload, we can enter ‘la la land’ of confusion, delusion, escapist behavior, like any kind of addictions. Figuratively, we can get lost in an ‘ocean’ of emotions and dreams.

Neptune is also presently square to Jupiter. Remember that both planets are rulers of Pisces, the most spiritual Sign of the Zodiac. Jupiter rules also Sagittarius, Natural Law, and the need to go beyond the analytical mind to find a higher understanding and grasp the ‘big picture’. Moreover, Jupiter magnifies whatever he touches. This planet, next in size after the Sun, is the biggest of the Solar System, 300 times the size of Earth. Can your regular mind grasp its power? Not only can Jupiter magnify the predisposition to spiritual interest, but can also make us fall into fanaticism, or extreme ideologies.

The Neptune Jupiter square is active all year long even though exact just three times. Their influence enhances the spiritual energy, and our need to go beyond the mundane and tangible level of life. We are seeking meaning and the truth that can only come through connecting with the invisible realm. Some feel inclined to use drugs that take them there, however with great confusion and delusions. Others will seek spiritual teachers, or develop psychic abilities that open up the spiritual vision. Others still will have vivid dreams, and astral travel during sleep or meditation that can show them the invisible reality. Others may experience a surge of inspiration for artistic endeavors, like enhanced ability for performing, dancing, photography or poetry.

The trine of Neptune with the North Node in Cancer makes the above mentioned energy even more urgent and compelling. In ancient oriental Astrology, the North Node is Rahu, the head of a Dragon who wanted to become god. As punishment, he was cut in half, and kept in his head his unquenchable thirst for achieving that goal. The drive for spiritual development is thus impelling and constraining. In Cancer, Rahu is also searching impulsively for emotional shelter in those spiritual foundations. These are times of social, political and general structural disintegration (Pluto transiting Capricorn), when the mundane chaos is so disorienting that people need to establish an emotional footing where they can ground themselves and find stability.

Considering that the South Node is with Saturn in Capricorn, we’ve been under pressure to mature and accept a new physical reality. Remember that Saturn ate his children, which mythologically symbolizes our ‘adulting’ process over time (Saturn was also Chronos, the God of Time). With the South Node we are leaving behind childish behavior, outmoded life structures (especially those marked by the zodiac house where Saturn is transiting in your own Chart), and even unconscious programming (also called Karma), and past life unfinished business. We are, again, compelled to embrace responsibility, discipline and reality. In fact, Saturn supports very gracefully the spiritual work Neptune is doing for us in Pisces, helping us materialize it and bring it into our daily reality (♄ ✽ ♆).

Because we are developing spiritually at an accelerated rate, we easily change things that do not agree with our new condition. It’s probably a favorable time to become sober, to embark on an addiction rehab program, or simply change environments and people we frequent. The places where these planets fall in your Natal Chart are where this is a great time to have a major transformation that will help you live a more fulfilling life, become wiser and happier.

It’s up to us to wisely and effectively use those energies.

Full Moon in Scorpio 27ยบ ♏︎- May 18, 2019

Full Moon in ♏︎ Scorpio 27ยบ

Today the Moon in Scorpio is building energy to the Full Moon tomorrow. The news already started bringing up ‘secrets’, and appalling information that has a big emotional impact in the public. In personal lives, there may be sexual (Scorpio) secrets coming to light (Mercury hidden by the Sun can bring communication against your will or in an indirect manner), that may be taboo. Make sure you visit my Youtube channel to watch my video on the Full Moon in Scorpio. Especially if you are concerned about relationship issues, be it personal or professional, this Full Moon can bring dramatic developments.

We also had news about Alabama’s law makers against Abortion Rights. Here is where Venus was shaken by Uranus (the androgynous planetary energy that can bring sudden upheavals, in this case to women, represented by Venus). This is a challenge that is certainly triggering women’s deepest emotional fibers, and will surely instigate rebellion (Uranus). The Full Moon in Scorpio (the Sign that rules sexuality) is highlighting this issue.

Also Black Moon Lilith is transiting Pisces. Myth tells us that Lilith was Adam’s first wife who rebelled against his dominance. Black Moon Lilith in Pisces is “fear of vulnerability”, and represents the “shadow of trust”. Make sure your feminine side doesn’t hide or escape, but builds appropriate protection against the invaders of privacy, those who attack the tender most fiber of femininity. According to Laura Walker in her book Astrology of Black Moon Lilith, “Our shadow is healed when we trust that we are strong enough to withstand any offense” (pg.35).
