Finding Meaning

This is THE month of Chiron. All the inner planets are in the waning phase to Chiron giving us the opportunity to find meaning in the wound. We now can discern how and why Chiron in Aries impacts our life. We are open to experience the deep psychological assimilation of his lesson and break through past patterns of suffering.

December 5 
The Moon conjunct Chiron; Venus and Saturn quintile Chiron

For a few hours, the Moon visits Chiron with her light to bring out to consciousness an expression of the vulnerability. Once more, we experience the suffering, we see clearly the evidence of our wound encouraging us to TLCing it.
Venus and Saturn conjunct exactly at the quintile (72º) angle to Chiron. They represent serious mature love that is committed to make healing a reality. With Pluto in Capricorn, Venus and Saturn become powerful forces of rebuilding with the recycled material that Pluto has been excreting during the decomposition he's been operating in that zodiac house.  That reconstruction has been directly orchestrated by the Cosmos so we receive the healing of our sense of self and of our capacity to initiate life with confidence. Remember as well that the 'medicine' is in the wound. As we heal, we become the 'medicine' for others with the same kind of wound.

December 8 
Jupiter square Chiron

Jupiter's influence inspires an even deeper understanding of the meaning of the wound. Jupiter expands and broadens our perspective so we can see how the process fits in our life path and in the evolution of humanity's consciousness development. We stop focusing on the small pain of ours as an injustice, because we now recognize the divine larger plan. We are probably ready to see how the 'wound' has created a bridge inside of us that take us to a higher level of spirituality.

December 10  
The Sun biseptile ; Mercury trine ; Mars sesquiquadrate (square & half) Chiron

By now, with a greater understanding, we are able to express our creativity in the healing process. We can describe and explain to ourselves and others how this inadequacy of ours is so instrumental in encouraging our spiritual development. Mars, the planet of action, urges us to work and do something different, to make a decision,  or initiate a creative process of healing. The time for lamenting the pain is over, we are ready to do something positive about it.

December 19 
The Moon opposes Chiron

This is the Full Moon Chiron cycle. Once more, like every month, we are able to shed light on the wound, because the Moon illuminates emotional reactions from our sense of not being good enough, or our feeling of not deserving something. Light can be shed as well on our protective or evasive patterns of behavior. This is a favorable time to pay attention to them and consciously change them. The Moon will engage this process every month for 7 years while Chiron is in Aries, meaning that we have plenty of opportunities to become more aware of our personal wound.

December 21 
Venus in Aquarius sextile Chiron

The love given or received with friends or in your like-minded groups not only supports your acceptance of the wound, but can also give you an opportunity to realize and share its meaning. Today you have the possibility to make social connections where you can use your new found understanding to share your 'wounded healer' abilities. Love is always the answer and the healer to every wound. Today you make connections where you can use it to accept the wound of someone else, and open the door for a deeper kind of relationship.

December 23 
Sun square Chiron

Today the ego may be triggered by someone else, especially an authority or male figure, in a testing way. However, what is different from the waxing square, is that now, with the waning square, we are absorbing the results of transforming the way we perceive our wound. We have adopted a new perspective on our vulnerability, and are eager to modify the vision of our inadequacy. Unless you haven't been awake during the process, this can be a very satisfying period.

December 26 
Solar Eclipse square Chiron

Usually, squares to an eclipse are lesser aspects than the conjunction and oppositions. This time, nonetheless, in my opinion, Chiron plays a crucial role in this Solar Eclipse. Around the world, people are strongly feeling Chiron in Aries in profound ways. The most evident 'wound' is a person's identity. People are suffering because of discrimination either for being of a certain color, culture, ethnic group, religious practice, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status or for being displaced and forced to migrate. Belonging to any of those categories (who doesn't?) makes you susceptible to being affected by this eclipse one way or another.
I will soon post the eclipse report, but if you have planets or angles around 4º of the Cardinal signs, Cancer, Libra, Aries and Capricorn, your chart will be heavily impacted. If your planets or angles are in Earth signs, Taurus or Virgo, the influence will be harmonious, though.

December 29 
Mercury square Chiron

Especially if you've been affected by the Solar Eclipse, your mind today will be in overdrive processing your painful perception of being who you are in the world. You may want to isolate, may feel ostracized or fall into depressive moods. Avoid dwelling in dark or gloomy thoughts. Remember that this is a time to accept who you are as you are, and make the best you can with what you are and have. That's the fate of everyone of us. We are all striving to survive in  a world that we have made inhospitable. Accepting your wound, you can help others heal.
Make an extra effort to choose your thoughts, to consciously redirect your mental objective to create the environment where you can feel safe, comfortable and loved. Even if there is nobody to love you just as you are, love yourself! Look up to the Stars at night and realize that you are made of the same matter they are. Every cell in your body is made of stardust. As Carl Sagan said:

"We are the way for the Cosmos to know itself"

This month we are all looking for and probably finding the meaning in our wound. Make it a great month sharing your light. I send much love and light toward you. Sat Nam.

This New Moon can represent a relatively positive and optimistic new beginning, related to the expansion of our consciousness, a wider understanding of our life plan for the future. It may be an inspiration to make life changing decisions. The sign of Sagittarius is really strong at this point when its ruler, Jupiter, is transiting happy-go-lucky as he can be in his own home. Plus, Venus' visit and meeting with him has certainly show up as good luck in our life one way or another. What good things have dropped on your lap during the past few weeks since the beginning of November?

With the Sun in Sagittarius, we are ready to celebrate, we’re buying plane tickets, or taking the road, going places, doing things. We want adventure, learn new things, see things and places we’ve never seen before, and plan for the future. The Holiday spirit officially gets into the heart. Venus and Jupiter are already there, so this time promises to be magnificently delicious.

The New Moon in ♐︎ trines Chiron ♈︎


This New Moon brings out subconscious issues and emotional insight related to our sense of vulnerable existence or identity.  It supports the healing process of our Chiron in Aries wound. It will raise our level of consciousness and spiritual perspective to understand the meaning and transcendence of our suffering.

New Moon quincunx Uranus

Uranus is the impulse to break free emotionally from the old patterns of behavior and routines. We feel emotional instability, anxiety, mood swings as we adjust to a new set of values. We may have sudden reactions demanding freedom. Unexpected events or news abruptly change our sense of value, our values, resources, energy or the internet in an emotionally shocking or frustrating way. We are challenged to consider the new situation in order to adjust. Uranus always demands change, brings new information, and new beginnings. We are face with a need to negotiate emotions and change to adapt.

New Moon conjuncts Pallas Athena 7º33’ ♐︎ Pallas Athena is the daughter of Zeus or Jupiter, born from his head, so she had no mother. Remember that those were times when Gods ate their offsprings and spouses. Mythologically she is considered “beautiful like Aphrodite, wise as Athena, stronger than Hercules, swifter than Hermes” (quoted in Astrology King). In Astrology she represents the critical thinking process that uses logical skills, strategy, wisdom, and courage. Even though she is a warrior for justice, she searches for the truth before judging, uses her intelligence to avoid violence and war, but wouldn’t shy from going to war to defend truth and righteousness if necessary. Pallas Athena in Sagittarius, is an excellent diplomatic. Able to see the big picture, she uses her creative intelligence to make wise compromises in political conundrums. She helps to make difficult decisions in relationships, and can bring spiritual and mental healing.

With the New Moon, Pallas Athena engages in forging links of unification and advises those in power, who apparently need a lot of advice these days.

Other planetary energies

Jupiter and Venus conjunct the Galactic Center I seriously invite you to read Philip Sedwick’s article to understand the meaning of the GC. All Jupiterian and Sagittarian traits are enhanced and sharpened at this point. If you have planets near 27º♐︎, you can feel it strongly. This is active from November 16 to the 27, 2019.

This conjunction with the Galactic Center downloads an update and upgrades your soul. It works similarly to a computer update, erasing outmoded and corrupted elements and installing the 'new version'. Philip Sedwick says that it does psychic defragmentation, throws out obsolete modes of operation, beliefs, patterns of thought and behavior and installs new ones. It implements a toxic energy purge to release past memories and blockages.

The GC cosmic energy enters the Crown Chakra and activates the Root Chakra, the pair that unites heaven and earth. We have thus instant access to Divine Insight and wisdom. Very important days to write down ideas that seem to come spontaneously and from nowhere. Some genial human advances in technology, science, and spirituality have been documented to happen during these periods. Einstein, Tesla, Newton and others are some examples. We are able to understand things at a higher level, to see them in the context of the big picture. This connection shifts our consciousness, opens our perspective and creates altered states of mind that makes us fully aware of reality as a whole. Take advantage at this NM, plant the seeds of your prosperity with optimism and enthusiasm. It can also give us the drive to go get what we want for material or spiritual success.

Jupiter 29º♐︎ and Venus 1º♑️ conjunction square Chiron 1º♈︎

At the same time, the influence of the GC conjunction, stimulates a better understanding of the vulnerable condition of our very existence. As we broaden the horizon, we realize the impact of climate change, pollution, resource damage by inadequate agricultural techniques and chemicals, and water scarcity on our possibility of survival as a species. We gain a new perspective on the lack of sustainability of the present system. Generally speaking, the ‘wound’ of being a faulty human brings up a new level of planetary consciousness and a deeper understanding of our life purpose. The task is to recognize and accept the human 'illness' as the portal of a higher evolutionary stage.
In relationships, how can Jupiter and Venus hurt Chiron? With an unbounded and indulgent optimism. You can expect more than your partner can or is willing to give, and that can resurface your sense of not being good enough or feeling inadequate or unwanted.

Jupiter 29º♐︎ and Venus 1º♑️ conjunction trines Uranus ♉️

Uranus contributes to that new perspective with innovative, clever, futuristic revelations and opportunities that were never dreamt about before. Like a light bolt, Uranus fractures the mental patterns, and makes unusual connection of ideas. It’s something like the technique used by Tarot card readers. According to Vincent Pitisci, Tarot cards stimulate the creative thinking process, which ‘forces you to see aspects of your questions or situations you look into, in ways you might not normally look at.” He calls it ‘conceptual blending’.

Uranus being the evolutionary cosmic energy by excellence makes leaps into the future, skipping stages, in order to satisfy the current evolutionary needs. Usually he does it by forcing unexpected changes, giving us solutions that we would have never considered before, even with rebellious outbursts like we are seeing around the world now. This new moon will be the beginning of many scientific discoveries and inventions to help us survive as well. Many people, awaking to the reality of our downfall, will change their habits to accommodate accordingly.

Mars in Scorpio opposite Uranus in Taurus

We already see the street battles for independence, or for freedom from an outdated economic Establishment that is taking humanity to the dumps. Uranus has opened our minds to a higher understanding that changed our value system drastically. People are ready to take strong actions in order to implement a new level of evolution. This is a violent aspect, that can bring violence, military interventions, unexpected attacks, earthquakes, volcano eruptions in order to balance the extremes.

These two planets in hard aspect have shown us their power already. In square, the Kilauea erupted May 12, 2018, and since Mars went retrograde, the aspect lasted a longer period, so the volcano erupted for months. Around the conjunction, a 7.5 Earthquake hits Peru, on February 22, 2019. We can expect similar explosions, originated by Nature and humans as well.

This is a very conflictive energy for relationships, since their opposing energy tend to clash. Couples can have aggressive outbursts if they have subjacent issues to resolve. Otherwise, on the positive side partners may renew and rebalance their intimacy with unconventional kinds of sexual stimulation.

Mercury in Scorpio trine Neptune in Pisces

Mercury has been digging out secret information regarding undercover financial and political power deals. Now that the issues are in the public ears and eyes, people are inspired to uncover all the truth. Neptune stationed direct now, has a stronger energy. Like the undertow bringing all junk pollution to the shores, Neptune is now revealing the corruption to the appalling dismay of people. People are furious to realize how they have been abused, robbed, duped, manipulated and lied to. Moreover, as Neptune turns direct November 27, people will see a very emotional day of powerful revelations. 

On the positive side, Neptune can be a source of inspiration, intuitive understanding, magnetic attraction to what we want and need. Its energy can help us develop creative solutions to the problems at hand. It is a great boost for poets and creative writers that will make them very productive. Communicators of all kinds seeking to reveal information will have their sources shower them with fantastic pieces of news.

However, fantasy is also illusion. You have to be careful about delusional thinking, building castles in the air, believing in unattainable dreams. If it is too good to be true, it is! Always consider the facts, and listen to the actions more than to the words.
