Solar Eclipse July 2, 2019

Solar Eclipse – July 2, 2019 – 10º ♋️

First, if you are not familiar with what is an eclipse astronomically, I recommend the Mr. Eclipse website. There, you can even see a picture of a Solar Eclipse on the first page. In summary, a Solar Eclipse happens when the Moon passes between the Sun and the Earth, close to a Lunar Node and eclipses or ‘covers’ the Sun light in such a way that, for the duration, the daylight becomes dark.

This one is a Total Solar Eclipse, but will only be seen fully in the Southern Hemisphere across Chile, Argentina and Uruguay. We can expect for sure that those countries will be directly affected by it. I’d say, especially Argentina whose Sun is 17º Cancer, and Mercury 6º, Venus 11º; and Uruguay with the Mercury at 7º and the Moon at 8º ♋️.

How the Solar Eclipse affects us

In our personal lives, psychologically, the Moon represents the unconscious mind and memories, the Sun represents the soul consciousness. Together, they are the lens through which we see the world, and our existence in general. The fact that the Moon, or unconscious, eclipses, or covers the Sun, our consciousness, means that our hidden conditioning from the past, and even from past lives, comes to the surface and supersedes the conscious awareness. We are able to see what was hidden before. It has a ‘fated’ flavor because of the close contact of the Sun Moon conjunction with the Lunar Node.

We call ‘fate’ whatever we don’t understand the reason why it happens. Generally speaking, fate or karma is the unconscious conditionings playing out in our life, which appears as spontaneous reactions from us or events coming from outside. Those conditionings are related to what has happened behind the veil we crossed when we were born. They are experiences, actions we did, people we met and interact with, and we forgot when we reincarnated.

The series of Cancer Capricorn eclipses started last Summer with the Solar Eclipse at 20º ♋️ July 12, 2018. This Cancer Capricorn eclipse ‘season’ lasts until July 5th 2020 with the last Lunar (completion) Eclipse in Capricorn. It means that we are working with the same evolutionary theme in different ways for about 2 years. The degrees activated by it are 20, 15, 10, 24, 10, 4, 0 and 13 in that order. You may look at your own Birth Chart to locate those and identify how the eclipses are affecting your life. Or you can order a reading with me to find out.

Eclipses have a cycle of 18.5 years, meaning that they repeat approximately at the same degree. Last time we had a Solar Eclipse at 10º Cancer was July 1, 2000, and the Lunar Eclipse July 16, 2000 at 24º Capricorn. Surprisingly, even the date is exact! So, if you feel that what is happening now in your life is a ‘déjà-vu’ kind of theme, is because IT IS! Only, now it may be higher in the evolutionary spiral. Situations, circumstances, events and people related to your personal theme may resonate with what happened in 2000, and even 18 years before then, around 1982.

This is something Astrologers have observed and correlated for thousands and thousands of years, with themes in society and personal life. The repetition of the eclipse cycle allows us to understand, process and develop the particular evolutionary theme (according to the zodiac house where it falls on our personal chart). If you compare with previous cycles, you can see a pattern clearly defined in your life.

Fate or free will?

Every time we incarnate, we are born with our own plan, usually consequence of previous soul evolution. The plan is 'written' in our Birth Chart. We are free to take the challenge or not, but every repetition of the theme gives us the opportunity to further our evolution. If we resist it, the evolutionary urge could become more intense every time. Considering Pluto and Saturn participation in our present particular Eclipse cycle, we can find ourselves in a pressure-cooker kind of situation. Especially because Pluto has a power out of our control. We are not able to deny or elude what he is ‘suggesting’; in fact, his suggestion is a kind of atomic power that is able to transmute us into a new form. This is why, his work is often referred to as the Phoenix coming back to life from the Ashes, or Death and Rebirth. So, wait until the Lunar Eclipse July 17, when the Moon will conjoin Pluto! Saturn on the other hand suggests some kind of separation, renunciation or sacrifice, particularly because the South Node has also a draining effect.

Aspects in the Solar Eclipse Chart

The New Moon conjoins the North Lunar Node 🌚☌ ☊, and opposes the South Node sandwiched in between Pluto and Saturn. Pluto has been decomposing and recycling the content of our Capricorn zodiac house. You can find general information on the Blog about the Lunar Nodes in the Cancer Capricorn axis. The South Node of the Moon breaks us free from our deepest unconscious patterns of behavior and conditioning coming from past situations, from this or previous lives. The memories are related to fear, abandonment, separation (Saturn), obsessive desires, and sexual, and life and death traumas (Pluto).

Remember that Saturn ate his children, which mythologically symbolizes our ‘adulting’ process over time (Saturn was also Chronos, the God of Time). With the South Node we are leaving behind childish behavior, outmoded life structures (particularly those marked by the zodiac house where Saturn is transiting in your own Chart), and even unconscious programming (also called Karma), and past life unfinished business. Saturn, now retrograde, is taking review of old decadent structures of conditioned responsibility, discipline and reality. When he comes back direct September 18, 2019, he will have a new plan, new structures to rebuild that area of life. In fact, Saturn supports very gracefully the spiritual work Neptune is doing for us in Pisces, helping us materialize it, and bring it into our daily reality (♄ ✽ ♆). (Please read more extensively about the still active Neptune trine to the North Node and square to Jupiter in my previous Blog post)

The transformation this Eclipse 'Season' operates is applied to the events taking place in the area of your life where Cancer falls in your Chart. Because this New Moon happens on the North Node, it will initiate, add something or enhance that area with something that will have a positive incidence or impact for the next 18-year cycle.

Uranus, stellar performance in the Solar Eclipse Sky

If you are an Aquarius child, Uranus is your ruler, then this Eclipse is affecting you even more.

The Sun and Moon sextile Uranus, Mercury and Mars square Uranus and trine Chiron. Uranus revolt in Taurus is about shocking changes to implement revolutionary physical, sexual, and material values. His soft relationship with the Solar Eclipse indicates a smooth acceptance of this new beginning. Personally, an unexpected event, meeting an unorthodox individual, or a sudden creative insight is an opportunity to totally change the person's future.

The stressful interaction of Uranus with Mercury in Leo, with a little push from Mars, though, makes for a clever stimulation of our mental ability and activity that can electrically trigger a surprising assertive decision, or an impulsive communication. Mars in Leo adds passion to the mix and in certain cases can be violent. Depending on the personal chart, the addition of Mars energy, can relate to an unexpected conversation about sexual issues, or a long overdue assertive statement regarding relationships or gender preferences, etc.

At the same time Mercury and Mars (4º orb) almost trine Chiron means that whatever the Uranus-Mercury-Mars conversation triggers, it will soon (when exact trine) bring healing to our sense of inadequacy and uneasiness, or inability to assert our own individuality in that area of life occupied by Aries. If Chiron is in the 7th house, is about sustaining appropriate relationships, if in the 3d house is about appropriate communication, or thinking. (Refer to my previous blog post about Chiron activation in June).

Conclusion

The Solar Eclipse energy is powerful and unavoidable. Events can come from outside. However, it is up to our level of conscious awareness, the way we can use them for our advantage. The consequences and our future depend on the choices and actions we take. The more aware we are, the better. Hence, the need for us not to take the Eclipse as just an event to watch for its magnificence, but rather to take time to retreat, reflect, ponder, meditate and set priorities and goals for a happier, wiser, and more loving life. With several planets in 'retrograde' mode, reflection is favored. If we are tired of the repeating patterns modality, the Eclipse Season is a great time to unstuck ourselves. Blessings and much love to you!

Solstice June 2019 - "Good? Bad? Who knows?"

Summer / Winter Solstice June 2019
 "Good? Bad? Who knows?"Ajahn Brahm

According to the Tropical Zodiac, June Solstice is the start of the Season, Winter in the Southern Hemisphere and Summer in the Northern Hemisphere, when the Sun enters the Sign of Cancer.
Happy Birthday to all early bird Cancer born!

The ingress of the Sun in Cancer adds a considerable amount of energy to this archetype's opposition to the Saturn Pluto conjunction in Capricorn. This polarized cosmic configuration reflects our own internal condition, and Humanity's collective unconscious. There is destruction and chaos all around us. In addition to the decomposition of human unconscious, natural resources, the climate, every ecosystem has been touched by this decay. The systems and structures need to undergo a change of form, a transmutation. As a whole, and individually in one area of our life, we are inside the chrysalis, we are no more a caterpillar, we are becoming a butterfly. And, yes, some kind of death or ending is part of the process.

There are dark and secretive powers (Pluto) in the material (Saturn) and spiritual (South Node) world playing out ancient karma (which I simply call ‘unconscious conditioning’). A chaotic mess is all around us, we don’t know what is going on, but we feel that the boat is capsizing, right?

However, the Solstice’s chart shows a stellium (cluster of planets) in Cancer. With the North Node there, Mars, Mercury and the ingress of the Sun, we have a lot of nurturing and caring energy at our disposal to find comfort and solace. The emotional feminine receptive -and yes, fluctuating, even moody- energy is strong. We are more inclined to look for home made cookies, a motherly hug, and symbolically a place where we can feel at ‘home’.

The astrological house ‘inhabited’ by Cancer in your chart, is the place where you will find comfort. At the same time we need this structural and system rebuilding in order to fully enjoy that comfort.

In the world, this month into July, women’s voice will be louder, feminine and mother’s issues will make themselves heard in spite of the established powers trying to hush them. And to be frank, situations may also turn less than pretty. The Saturn Pluto opposition is a power to reckon with, it doesn’t play around, on the contrary, it is relentless.

Even though the conjunction of the transiting South Node to Pluto marked a need to surrender the obsessive power hunger, that moment is already gone. Saturn is now traveling back the zodiac together with the South Node, reconsidering which structure, restrictions and limits to keep and which to let go. These energies in direct opposition to the Cancer stellium generate a tug-of-war. The established powers want their way, and we want to be able to enjoy comfort and wellbeing. The feminine receptive energy looks for protection (the Cancer Sign is represented with a crab) and shelter. The masculine projective energy imposes more regulations, order and control in exchange for the security we are looking for. What power and how much more of it are we willing to give away to ensure our safety?

At the same time, Venus already in orb (close) to square Neptune and oppose Jupiter, (shown in the chart by red lines forming a triangle) give us a weekend of truce (June 23-24). This is called a T-square. Like a table with three legs it is unstable energy subject to conflict and opposition. These three planets are considered 'benefic', or positive energies. However, in mutable signs like Gemini, Sagittarius and Pisces, the energy can go either way. There can be too much of a good thing, especially with Jupiter in the mix. We may feel too optimistic, too inspired, willing to give free rein to our desires, spend lots of money, indulge in pleasures or escapist behavior. Too much of a good thing can, in fact, backfire. The solution is to ad the Virgo energy of your chart. If you have planets there, you can focus on using their 'personality'.  I. e., if you have Mars, you can spend time dancing (combining Mars and Neptune), or doing charitable or service work (Mars in Virgo). Knowing your astrology, you can use the energy to your advantage!

The Moon in Aquarius sextile Jupiter can tone down the overoptimism because of her restrictive and at the same time innovative 'flavor'. Saturn in Capricorn sextile Neptune can bring dreams into reality. This way, the Jupiter Neptune square is somehow moderated, and can ground our aspirations and inspiration.

The Moon sextile Jupiter is also helping to resolve their Yod configuration with the North Node. Having a wise understanding of the broader perspective with an emotional detachment guides our focus on the search for safety and security, if only for a few hours while the Moon holds the sextile.

In conclusion, the Solstice energy sets the stage for what is coming. It looks like a hallway, or better yet a foyer to the new place we are about to enter. Are we being born into a new kind of life? Then this time may just be our passage through the birth canal. July and December/January eclipses promise intense and dramatic events, both worldly and personally. "Good? Bad? Who knows?" as Ajahn Brahm says. In fact, whatever happens will probably be bad and good at the same time. Looking back in our own life, we discover that painful events ended up giving us a better perspective and a lesson we really needed to learn! This week is a good time to stop, meditate, reflect and become aware of what's happening in those Cancer and Capricorn areas of our life.

Make it a great time! Sat Nam

Full Moon 25º ♐︎- June 16-17, 2019

Red lines on the Chart mean tension, challenge, urgent change of direction. If we don't want it, we are forced to change!  The blue lines demand adjustment, adaptation, or compromise.  The green lines indicate the support to the process. Let's take a look at the details.

The Sun and the Moon

The Sun is at 25º 53' Gemini and the Moon at 25º 53' Sagittarius. The Sun in Gemini illuminates all activities based on the mind. Thinking, reasoning, communication, even communication and broadcasting devices and media (i.e. internet, TV, radio, press, etc.), conversations, debates, information, all of those are enhanced during the time the Sun transits Gemini. At the Full Moon something hits culmination in our mental process. The Moon reflects the Sun light in the big picture area of Sagittarius. We now are able to see the whole scheme of things, understand the truth, make sense of the true meaning of the information learned by putting together all the pieces (Gemini mind balanced by Sagittarius mind). The spiritual, ethical and even legal implications are now evident.  Too obvious, I'd say, because Jupiter makes a loose but still active conjunction with the Moon from 18º of Sagittarius, magnifying the clarity brought out by both the Moon and the Sun.

The T-Square

Talking about the magnifying glass help from Jupiter, I also need to refer to its square to Neptune, who, at the same time, makes a loose but still effective square to the Sun from 18º of Pisces. Yes, there is a risk of confusion when we are tuned in to lower vibration, however, we can also count on Neptune's spiritual, intuitive, inspirational influence. In fact, Neptune is the antennae to the heavens, he is able to connect us to the ethereal vibrations of the cosmos and let us 'see' what is not visible to the physical eye. Neptune shows a reality we can see with our eyes closed, when we tune in with our third eye. Curiously, what we call the third eye nowadays, was called 'common sense' in Socrates' times. Today the common sense not only is not common, but it's very elusive. Why? Because we live in a materialistic society where we only focus on the tangible reality, and, lack of practice and awareness, we have lost this natural ability to perceive the unseen.

Moreover, the Full Moon is only about a degree away from the Galactic Center. What is the Galactic Center? It's the black hole where everything comes from, and everything goes back to nothingness. God? The Source of all existence? It seems to be the upload and download place of consciousness and creative energy. Existence comes to be to become conscious of itself. Therefore, a planetary contact with this powerful Source of All Knowledge, especially the Moon, whose intuitive energy is a revealing conduit, can open up a gate of understanding, wisdom, and clear intellectual activity.

In my interpretation, the Full Moon T-Square to Neptune has the power to show us probably more than we can handle and are ready to receive. Most people, especially those who don't have any spiritual practice, may feel really confused, delusional or have a tendency to numb themselves with substances, because it may be too much for their minds to grasp. Others may react just focusing on the tangible familiar reality. If you are inclined to do a meditation practice, this Full Moon is a great propitious time for it.

The powerful opposition

The Cancer Capricorn Nodal Axis is in full force at the time of this Full Moon. The North Node of the Moon conjuncts -even though not exactly, it's tight- Mars and Mercury. The South Node is still in close proximity to Saturn and Pluto, both now retrograde.

Pluto has been in Capricorn since 2008, unearthing, decomposing, and demolishing anything that is no longer useful for our progress, that no longer belongs to our present evolutionary stage, or does not contribute to our future stage. Referring to the house he's transiting in your personal chart (natal or progressed) you may have a better understanding of where, how, what and why is being transmuted there. In general, while Pluto navigates this house, we only see the demolition; it's not until the end, when he's ready to move on to Aquarius for his next demolition there, that we see the new shape we have turned in. Now, that he's retrograde, again! we are in reflection, revision mode, walking through the rubble and pondering the extent and meaning of the destruction, wondering what would come out of this once we put the pieces back together.

Capricorn themes are the outside structures of our life. The societal paradigm and conventions, our public functions, political correctness, ethical matters, the boundaries and security agreements of the individual with the society he or she lives in, they are all under Pluto's scalpel and alchemical potions. Walls don't mean a thing for Pluto's power, he is able to knock over any Capricornian wall. He likes to go deep into the essence, dig into the underlying reasons why we want walls, structures, restrictions, limitations. If we haven't yet, we will soon realize how much power we give away to accept the so well organized Capricornian hierarchical security.

The South Node is there to help us leave behind all the debris. It's acting as the trash collection truck going to the dump.

Saturn's two and a half years visit to Capricorn is taking stock of the chaos left behind. Now retrograde, he reflects, reviews, reassesses the whole structural situation, so when he comes back direct, he will have a plan for reconstruction. That's the plan he will propose to Pluto during the anxiously waited meeting  at 24º of Capricorn in January 2020. This will be the turning point, especially because of the conflictive and progressively aggravating events that will develop through the eclipses, and, in fact, during the next six months. It's going to feel like we are inside a pressure cooker! I will discuss more about the eclipse season in July, stay tuned.

That wedge!

I you take a look at the chart, all those red lines talk about conflictive, opposing and polarizing energy, which we already see playing out in the public sphere. The green lines are supportive, softly flowing favorable energy.

The wedge formed by the green and red lines connecting the Cardinal opposition (planets with the Nodal Axis) and Neptune, gives a more passive feminine energy to play with, helping us solve the disparities with a relentless but quiet effort and determination.

Even though Jupiter square Neptune has a bad rap for the negative implication of deception, lies, and delusion, we should be grateful for their Mutable, Water and Fire contribution, that can soften the harsh radical changes occurring in the Cardinal Signs of Cancer and Capricorn. Moreover, it is thanks to Neptune that we can envision the conflicts at hand from a higher spiritual perspective. Jupiter gives us hope for a better future, and the need to look for the truth of the matter. Neptune can be forgiving, understanding, unconditional love, service and charitable feelings. In fact, all that 'ocean of water' (Pisces) helps us to effect the necessary changes, taking into consideration, or based on, not only our gut feelings, but also on our intuition and higher perspective.

All those inconjunctions!

The blue lines are inconjuncts, or energetic relationships that need readjusting, adaptation, compromising.

The Sun inconjunct Pluto marks our fear of the uncertainty and confusion coming from Neptune square the Sun. Pluto pushes us to study, analyze, and ponder all factors and many hypothesis in the situation,  maybe obsessively, but needed nonetheless. It provokes us to reconcile the profound upcoming changes with our identity. "If this happens, I will have to be this way, if that changes, I will have to adapt that way", kind of thinking.

Jupiter inconjunct Mercury and the North Node asks us to reconcile the information we have to go forward into the future with our enthusiasm and need for truth and wisdom. We may face the tendency to exaggerate, to just look at the forest without seeing the trees or vice versa. We see already the media distorting communications or only consider a high perspective, now they may just focus on the details. We will need to reconcile our grandiose, confusing or delusional mental picture (Jupiter square Neptune), and our day to day reasoning (Mercury).

We also need an adjustment to balance our actions (Mars) and our beliefs (Jupiter) taking into consideration other people (Moon).

Conclusion

We may be so overwhelmed by information at this lunation, that we may feel triggered into radical actions. Our minds may be driven by high hopes in a better future, and at the same time, we need to consider the practical details and facts in order to make sound and compassionate decisions.

This second part of June the personal planets transiting Cancer will activate already the July Eclipses AND the Pluto Saturn upcoming Conjunction at 24º of Capricorn in January. This means that we are already experiencing the eclipse season theme. Whatever happens from now on in the area of Capricorn (zodiac house) is the matter we will be dealing with then.

Step back, don't rush into actions, make sure you reflect, meditate and especially take care of yourself with great TLC. No one will take care of you better than yourself, and others may need you sound and healthy.

Make it a great day! Sat Nam

Chiron activation in June 2019 - Transits

June 2019 activation of Chiron

As the month starts, on June 4, the Moon in Cancer, our emotions around home, family and comfort are clashing with Chiron vulnerabilities, because of the first quarter square. To learn more about the monthly emotional dance between the Moon and Chiron, please read my previous post here.

June 7, it's Mercury's turn to make the first quarter square to Chiron. We want to tell someone something that's been bothering us for a while now, but we don't know how, because it's painful, it feels inadequate, awkward. Where do we start? How do we say it? There may be feelings of shame or blame, and our mind is heavy. Vulnerability takes center stage in the conversation. Or we read a message and feel it going through directly to the wound, much like when your knee hurts and you bump it again against the table leg. Ouch! Or, you know  you need to talk about that achy issue with your sibling, friend or spouse, but you just can't wrap your mind around the idea of doing it.

In conflict with Chiron, Mercury, especially in Cancer, can also be trying to be a story teller to comfort someone, the psychological counselor, or just the friend or sibling that tricks you into forgetting your hurt. Do you remember the movie Life is beautiful ? That father protecting his son from the cruel reality through his made up stories is Chiron square Mercury.

Loaded with emotions, the mind has difficulty thinking in a logical and coherent way that can make a whole picture of the issue. The ideas are fragmented and we cannot make sense of what is needed. It is painful accepting that we cannot let go of certain bothering thoughts.

Also, Mercury in conflict with Chiron, can have us look for written healing methods, youtube health videos, or other communications found in the environment. Relaxing the mind with meditation, accepting the mental chaos, or talking with another person, if possible, can help us go through this transit.

June 13 Venus in Gemini sextile Chiron This is a favorable aspect and healing energy that can show up through relationships. It represents a window of opportunity for a couple of days to heal the wound of Chiron in Aries. As Jeremy Neals, Astrologer, says "True love cannot be made without Chiron". Venus can be a balsamic relief for your Chiron pains.  But we have to tap into the energy and use it to sooth the rawness of the wound, care for it, treat it with compassion, understanding, patience. Even though, Venus is not the unconditional love Neptune can give us, we can get a glimpse of what true love may be.

We can meet a person or have a relationship situation that makes the wound obvious to our awareness. We understand that something is broken one way or another, but we are still whole. It may show as an opportunity to remember it with compassion, we can then establish a harmonious and balanced love exchange, where both parties receive what they need. However, the whole process only starts within ourselves, when we understand that we are lovable in spite of our faults, when we look in the mirror and say to ourselves 'I love you' sincerely, with all our own heart. Then, we are ready to love.

Love in human life is as necessary as food and water. Babies cannot survive without it. Adults only survive without it. Wether we have a partner or family to love, Love is an essential part of human life. If alone, we have to learn how to provide it for ourselves. If in relationships, When we relate to others, all areas of life are involved, especially the ones that hurt. They need to be included as well. The sextile to Venus in Gemini brings the interaction, communication, understanding, and information to give us the opportunity to heal by realizing where it hurts.

Last night, I was talking with a classmate about a conflict that I have with another friend I love, and told her that even though I've done all I could to resolve it, I still feel that it won't ever be resolved, and don't know what else to do. She said, "try forgiving yourself and your friend". Even though I have consciously done it, but maybe very deep inside, I don't feel I am forgivable. This was an insight that helps me heal if I apply it purposefully.

June 27 the Sun makes its first quarter square to Chiron, thwarting our self authority, self expression, and our ego. We struggle to find joy. Now, we see certain sides of our personality that don't feel "good enough". For a couple of days we become more sensitive to our personality flaws that seem to increase in size and ugliness. One can feel divided, and try to hide certain uncomfortable pieces. Shame is very common with this aspect. Any mistake may look like a horrible monster that makes our existence miserable.

Father and authority figures show now their flaws. One may be in conflict with one's father. We ourselves, may have a hard time integrating our own sense of authority or the masculine (yang) outgoing and assertive energy.  One may act out or show off in order to compensate.

Chiron likes to have us divert his vulnerability to avoid the pain. Often times we find ourselves trying to heal someone else with this kind of problems, instead of focusing on our own sensitivity.  However, it is this pain that awakes in us the need to search for alternative healing tools.  Becoming aware of the issue at hand these days can help us tremendously to face the wound of our existence, and look for a way to heal ourselves instead of diverting the energy outside. Accepting imperfection is a great part of being able to enjoy who we are as we are.

All month of June, Uranus semi-sextile Chiron. I dedicated an entire blog post to this aspect since it is a long lasting one, here: Chiron in Aries and his Maverick friend, or foe? Don't miss it, because, both will retrograde this year and travel approximately together, back and forth, for a long time.

These Cancer transits now represent a set up or a preface to the July eclipses. If they conjunct, square or oppose any of your planets around 10º or 24º in Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn, your Chart may be activated in a significant way. Keep tuned in because I will write about Eclipses soon.

Chiron in Aries and the Moon Phases

Foto credit Suzanne Haik-Hynes

The Moon traveling around the Zodiac (around the Earth) in 28 days aspects Chiron in Aries almost constantly even if for a couple of hours. This represents a constant emotional trigger of the issue Chiron represents in Aries for each of us.

Every month, then, the Moon goes through all the phases in her relationship with Chiron, conflicts, tension, challenges, crises and surrender. We can use the energy of this cycle to deliberately develop our healing.

Dane Rudhyar illustrated description of the Lunar Cycle

Conjunction

Our emotions are fully charged with Chiron's pain to the point that we can't deny it, we know exactly where it hurts. Our feelings about this vulnerability are raw, difficult to bare, we feel a victim of it. It seems we would never overcome the wound of being what it is -or who we are. Either we dwell on the suffering, or we look for a way out. We welcome new thoughts, envision a plan.

1st Quarter Square

During the period of the Moon transiting these 90º from Chiron, we started with a decisive impulse either to try to heal, or show our pain in actions. The intention becomes a goal. We look for a healing approach, or we complain in a 'poor me' mode every way we can. Around half way, there is a struggle, the healing  method presents a challenge, or we realize that the complaining doesn't take us anywhere.

Opposition

To reach the 180º, one encounters obstacles and needs to overcome them. We decide to take action, apply some remedy, or practice an appropriate healing technique or method that aligns with the previously set goal.  During this period, we may need to refine the process. Once the Moon opposes Chiron one sees the results of one's work.

3d Quarter Square

Another 90º forward, we find ourselves in introspection, reassessing the process. We may feel grateful for the results. We have gained some revealing insights about how the Chiron wound works in our life. So, we are ready to let go of a piece of the pain and suffering. We assimilate the healing like fresh water in a hot day.

Balsamic and New Moon (again)

During the last 90º of the Moon's travel around the Earth, we are able to have a new perception of our Chironic vulnerability. Having worked for three weeks on the issue is like seeing things clearer through a new prescription of glasses. We understand ourselves better and surrender to what is. But, wait. Here it comes again, the Moon meets Chiron again and the emotions awake yet another face of the wound.

So the cycle starts all over again. Month to month, we can heal a bit at a time at an ever higher level of consciousness. In fact, this is the way we grow through all the planetary cycles. Every planet relates to another through the same cycle.

June Chiron Moon Cycle

Conjunction May 29
First Quarter Square June 4
Opposition June 11
Third Quarter Square June 17
New Conjunction June 25

Now you have the key. Enjoy the process and make it a great month! Sat Nam!
