Full Moon in Aries

In October, 2025, the Full Moon falls in the Sign of Aries, Fire Cardinal Masculine Sign, and in the Decan of Leo, October 6 @ 20:47 PDT, 22:47 CDT, 23:47 EDT. In Europe, it happens on October 7 @ 3:47 am UTC/GMT. Like any other Full Moon, the Moon opposes the Sun. The Moon reflects the sunlight and projects it onto the Earth. 

You will hear Astronomers and Meteorologists talk about it as a Super Moon. The reason is that the Moon is at her perigee (closer than normally to the Earth), appearing really big to us. This phenomenon has more than picturesque impressions, but many gravitational physical effects. She pulls on the surface of the Earth and Water affecting tides and the movement of water in the seas making the currents stronger.

"This "perigean current" is a period of stronger-than-average currents, making the high and low tides more extreme than during other times of the lunar cycle."1

Effects of a Super Moon

However, at this time the Moon, fortunately, will NOT be out-of-bounds by declination. Still, having the Moon so close, in our face as it were, also amplify our moods, making us more reactive to the situation at hand. And this is not all, Emergency Room staff will tell you whenever there is a regular Full Moon, they are busier. But during a Super Full Moon, wounds will bleed profusely, there will be an increase of mental health patients needing assistance, there are more baby deliveries, and the staff themselves will be more irritable and work will become hectic. Just a tip, if you don't have a life threatening health problem, avoid the ER around a Super Full Moon. 

My teacher, Lynn Koiner, has done extensive astrological research on Super Moons and calls them Crisis Lunations. They are usually associated with critical events, personal as well as public. 2

Ruler Mars in Scorpio

Yet, this Full Moon in the Sign of Aries is a fiery one. Ruled by Mars in Scorpio, one can count on needing a good emotional cleanse, organically, psychologically or spiritually. Scorpio relates to the excretory system in the body, but symbolically, one may need to eliminate deep seated emotional trauma, or revisit anger, fear or trust issues. The Full Moon light will illuminate the darker places of our psyche to uncover them.

Another possibility is seeing aggression popping up from dark places. Mars in Scorpio is vengative, sometimes, looking for revenge; may be obsessive compulsive, but strategic in his action. He can awaken a passionate reaction due to jealousy, or even the suspicion of treason. The Leo decan may indicate a wounded ego lashing out. His impulsive dart may be subversive, or lie in ambush. An old resentment may burst in the open in a relationship and destroy it. 

Mercury square Pluto

Then this Full Moon, not only because of her bright light, but also her condition -described above-, can promote revelations. During the Solar Eclipse in Virgo on September 21, 2025, Mercury, its ruler, was under the sunbeams, which means that whatever the eclipse was starting, was 'invisible'. Now, not only has Mercury already escaped the Sun's brightness, but is square Pluto, the modern ruler of Scorpio. 

 Mercury in this Sign loves investigating to the core of the matter. He's now able to uncover taboos, secrets that one keeps very tightly close, especially those of sexual nature, but also shames, guilt, crimes, and undercover dealings. Mercury is never afraid of digging deep in the dungeons of the psyche. After all, he dealt with Pluto the liberation of Persephone from the Underworld. In Scorpio, Mercury becomes a spy, he wants the truth and will not rest until he gets it. Plus, he knows the tricks necessary to make the subject lose the grip of it. 

Mercury is also forming a Yod with Uranus and Neptune at the base, activating their sextile. There might be surprising insights. Uranus stimulates the mind and the combination with Neptune gives intuition and clairvoyance. Mercury in Scorpio finds out shocking information that radically change the way we think. We have to revise and adjust our concepts and ideas. 

Last Aspect of the Moon 

Another factor to consider is the last aspects the Moon makes before being perfectly Full. She sextiles Uranus in Gemini and Pluto in Aquarius at their midpoint from Aries. The Moon -almost full- represents a new awareness that produces a mental liberation, when new information published reveals certain secrets (Uranus) and makes a significant intellectual transformation in the public opinion (Pluto in Aquarius). 

Chiron conjunct Eris

Chiron conjoined Eris exactly the first time on May 27, 2025 at 25º Aries 28'. The second time  they are exact is October 9, 2025 at 25º Aries 15'. They are in tight orb at the moment of the Full Moon. There will be a third exact conjunction on March 19, 2026 at 24º Aries 59'. But they are in effective orb for a few years on either side of these dates.

Apple of the Discord by Jacob Jordaens

Eris was not invited to the Gods' Banquet. One can safely assume, due to her bringing her apple of the discord to their table, that she was not 'beautiful' enough. Chiron was abandoned and relegated also because he didn't fit the mold. The way I see this conjunction is that rejecting those who supposedly do not fit in society, making them scapegoats, or trying to eliminate them because they are 'inconvenient', is the actual Discord that creates not only the Chaos the world experiences now, but may actually end in the kind of Trojan War that decimates Humanity. 

Chiron in Aries represents the Wounded Warrior as well as our human wounded identity. Everywhere people are put in situations where they are rejected just because who they are, discriminated for their color, nationality, culture, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, health condition, etc. That assuming that there is a Standard Normality. 

This Aries Full Moon may also shed the light on issues of identity and the 'problem' of being a Human.

The Complicated Story of the                          Virgo Pisces Eclipses 2025 - 2026 

The lifespan of an eclipse may last from months to several years depending on several astrological factors, including the duration of it in hours/minutes. Transiting planets act as triggers to events related to the nature of the active eclipse. But the most powerful planetary transits are those of Saturn and Mars, the traditional malefic and the outer planets Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. 

Currently, we are in an Eclipse period when coincidentally, several eclipses are hit by both Mars and Saturn during their lifespan and even before they happen. These conjunctions to the degree of an eclipse have already started, and they exactly relate to the events in the Middle East. 

Of course, the Mars Saturn conjunction can be considered as one of the significators of the Israel conflict with Iran and its proxies.1 This could be traced even to previous cycles of these two 'malefics', their conjunctions of March 2020 at 0º♒️, April 2022 at 22º♒️, and the current one April 2024 at 14º♓️. At all those conjunctions Israel made noise regarding Iran's nuclear power development. However, this time around the eclipses were in Aries/Libra axis and now Virgo/Pisces and this makes all the difference after the long period of brewing animosity and even longer standing enmity. The reason is that Saturn and more so Mars are hitting the eclipse degrees one by one in succession. 

In addition, the current cycle of Sun (main character of eclipses) Mars started in Scorpio, which has historically been associated with g*e*n*o*c*i*d*e*s. Please refer to a previous article called Sun Conjunct Mars in Scorpio, to read about the historical antecedents. This cycle and the Sign of Pisces seem to indicate more broader implications, especially considering also the upcoming Saturn Neptune conjunction at 0º♈️, and the unstable configuration they will be forming repeatedly. 

Mars and Saturn Transits

Let's explore what happens when Mars and Saturn join the Virgo Pisces eclipses. The Saturn transit with a North Node Eclipse "show situations that mature fairly rapidly. If the situation is out of balance it requires a fast solution or it is resolved pretty quickly."2 Saturn has a restrictive influence over the themes of the eclipse, and often concludes the difficulties, creating obstacles or establishing rules.

Now Mars with South Node eclipses is always associated with the rise of conflicts from the past. Its transit times the stimulation of the conflict, by adding 'fuel to the fire' as it were. In this regard, "It's better to have Mars transit first and then Saturn"3

Nonetheless, just remember that even the transits of Moon, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter can also add their 'contribution' to the eclipse theme. It's also important to keep in mind all eclipses in the Virgo Pisces axis are Lunar except only one Solar in Virgo on September 21, 2025. Even if the Moon falls in Pisces, Mars will anyway join the degree opposite, where the Sun is. 

The first eclipse (lunar) in this axis took place at 25º40'♓️ on September 17, 2024. Saturn was the first one joining this degree on April 10, 2025, Mars will oppose it on July 30, 2025, and Saturn comes back retrograde and stations over the 25º from October 29 to December 22, 2025! 54 days! This is major but, if not enough, Pluto is out-of-bounds from August 29, 2025 until November 23, 2025! 

The headlines for April 10, say that U.S. Senate Confirms Christian Zionist Mike Huckabee as Israel Ambassador, Israel continues killing people in Gaza and occupying Palestine, France talks about recognizing the state of Palestine. And U.S. Continues Air Attacks on Yemen.4

According a timeline published by AP News,  by "April 30, 2025 — Iran executes a man it said worked for Israel’s Mossad foreign intelligence agency"5

November 3, 2025 Tel-Aviv

The second eclipse (lunar) took place at 23º 56' ♍️ on March 14, 2025. Mars will join this degree on July 27, 2025. Stay tuned on that date and observed how he stirs up the heat and sharpens the weapons. 

Edition: July 28, 2025 news said "The Pentagon says that it killed a senior Islamic State leader and two other members of ISIS in Aleppo, Syria, in a raid on Friday [July 25]."*

The third eclipse (lunar) will take place at 15º22' ♓️ on September 7, 2025. Mars is setting an antecedent already by opposing this degree on July 15, 2025. And yes, eclipses live before they are born, just observe. 

Edition: July 15, 2025 news said "On Monday [July 14], Israel launched airstrikes on Syrian forces being sent into the region. Under the pretext of protecting the Druze, Israel has repeatedly bombed Syria in recent months."*

The fourth eclipse (lunar) happens at 12º 53'♍️ on March 3, 2026. Mars hits this degree on July 9, 2025, already forecasting what may come next year. 

The fifth eclipse (lunar) is coming on August 28, 2026 at 4º53' ♓️. The sixth eclipse at 2º 05'♍️ coming up February 20, 2027. Mars is there on June 20 to 25, 2025. This coincided with the exchange of bombing between Israel and Iran, and immediate US intervention on the nuclear sites of Iran on June 23, 2025. Mars arrived to the 4º degree ♍️ coinciding with the Cancer New Moon, marking a new escalation level in the Middle East War. 

The seventh and last eclipse on this axis at 29º 04' ♍️ (anaretic = critical degree) comes September 21, 2025 just the day before the Equinox. Mars gets to this degree exactly on August 5, 2025 anticipating already the theme of this eclipse. 

Edition: August 5, 2025 news state that the Israel PM faces opposition to his government from the people, and judicial authorities. He has gone so far as to remove his prosecutor. "In Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government voted unanimously to remove the attorney general, who is prosecuting Netanyahu for corruption. But soon after the vote, the High Court of Israel issued a temporary injunction."* 

August 5, 2025 Tel Aviv

I left to the end another Saturn hit that exactly opposes this last eclipse on September 21, 2025. In fact, Sun and Moon oppose the midpoint between Saturn at 28º27'♓️ and Neptune at 0º48'♈️. The Sun at the Equinox exactly opposes Neptune just less than 24 hours later.

Let's hope that Saturn closes the door to the Middle East conflict, and peace can be made with the Sun through the Sign of Libra, the sign of compromises, peace and balance. Venus in Virgo (also transiting the eclipses) can work hard to smooth out the wrinkles of troubles and problems. 

But Sun Mars will start a new synodic cycle at 19º Capricorn, next January 9, 2026. About 2 months later, between March 2 and April 4, when Mars ingress Pisces, the conjunctions and oppositions with these eclipses will start all over again. Let's observe and hope for peace.

The World That is Coming - Saturn Neptune Conjunction in Aries

The Dawn of a New Civilization?

Historical Conjunctions

Saturn joins Neptune in Aries on February 20, 2026 @ 0º♈️ 45'.

However, they have just a 13' orb between July 13 and 16, 2025, which can be considered an exact conjunction as well. We can affirm with certainty that whatever this conjunction has in store is already being revealed.

This conjunction in Aries is rare since it only happened seventeen times since 6000 BC, and only four times during the last 2000 years as follows.

In 4684 BC; three times from 4362 BC to 4361 BC; 3859 BC; 3536 BC; 3213 BC; 2388 BC; 2065 BC; 1240 BC; 0917 BC; 0594 BC; 0092 BC.

Then, in our current Era, in 232, 555, 1380 and 1703.

But there was only one occurrence at 0º Aries before now, the three times between 4362 BC and 4361 BC. First time at 0º 50', second at 0º 06', third at 0º 01'.

March 3, 4361 BC

At that time, Humanity was in the Neolithic Period, and it was the end of the Ubaid Period. This civilization consisted of Sumerian peoples who settled as sedentary agricultural communities in the Mesopotamia region and lasted since approximately 6500 BC to 4100 BC.

This means that the Saturn Neptune conjunction then marked approximately the start of their decline.  

"As a result of changes in sea-level, the shoreline of the Persian Gulf during the Ubaid was different from that of today. At the beginning of the Ubaid, around 6500 BC, the shoreline at Kuwait may have run slightly farther south. During the subsequent 2.5 millennia, the shoreline moved farther northward, up to the ancient city of Ur around 4000 BC."

"The Ubaid civilization, a prehistoric cultural period in Mesopotamia was characterized by painted pottery, rectangular brick buildings, and early public architecture. They were one of the first civilizations to develop in the region, laying the foundation for urban centers and advanced practices like writing and irrigation."1

"These agricultural settlements included some of the earliest cities in human history, including Eridu, Ur, and Uruk. Artifacts were found across a vast area of the Near East, including parts of Anatolia and the Caucasus."

"The Ubaid society exhibited social stratification, with a clear hierarchy between the ruling elite (priests, administrators) and the common people."2

"Trade goods began to flow down waterways in southern Mesopotamia, and large, temple-centered cities (most likely theocratic and run by priests-kings) rose up to facilitate this trade. Slave labor was also utilized."

"Early temples and other public architecture indicate the presence of organized religious practices and beliefs."

"Many Sumerian clay tablets have been found with writing. Initially, pictograms were used, followed by cuneiform and then ideograms."3

Those were the first records found so far of human writing which probably was born out of the need to account for trade.

Dating varies according to different archeological findings and experts in ancient history, but the Saturn Neptune conjunction certainly coincided with the ending of ancient Sumerian Ubaid civilization. The new period was transitional during which Sumer was absorbed by the rise of the Akkadian Empire by the 23rd century BC.

A New Civilization

With reference to that ancient conjunction, the current rare Saturn Neptune conjunction at 0º Aries may indicate the birth of another civilization, different and more advanced than the one we live in now. But, let's stop for a minute to define what is understood when we say the word 'civilization'.

 

Civilization Definition 

"The process by which a society or place reaches an advanced stage of social and cultural development and organization. A condition of human social organization of a high order, marked by the development and use of a written language and by advances in the arts and sciences, government and culture, and intellectual refinement." 4

A civilization usually refers to a society based on trust. 5 Of course, to have social activity, there is a need for trust in others in order to build mutual cooperation and exchange. This trust allows for the organization of a government system, build a social structure, organize a stable food supply network to ensure the survival of individuals, teach and train workers to use technology, and the use of a communication system. The sum of all those factors creates a highly developed society.

As this conjunction is part now a Small Grand Trine configuration with revolutionary Uranus in Gemini and transformative Pluto in Aquarius, we can expect a Great Revolution through a new communication system (Air Signs) that gives birth (Aries) to a new kind of civilization. Would it mean a post Homo Sapiens? Would it be a Homo Creator?

Significations of Saturn Neptune Conjunction in Aries

• Based on previously mentioned historical events their conjunction means a redefinition of boundaries. Above, it was stated that the Persian Gulf moved its boundaries north and the peoples had to move north as well. There are no exact dates or facts about this, but, could that have been the Great Deluge or some other natural catastrophe? What is certain is that there is evidence of the sea invading the land. The shift of boundaries starts with border conflicts, human or natural, disputes of territory, or geographic confusion, during a transitional period before the new boundaries are defined.
• As boundaries between countries are redefined, so is the identity of their peoples.
• Raise of ocean levels invading the low coastal places.
• Saturn can crystalize aspects of the Neptunian imaginative archetype (i.e. AI getting a corporate identity), or give physical shape to your wildest dreams.
• Substances like oil, gas, drugs, and the pharma (Neptune) may incur regulation, restrictions, or prohibition (Saturn).
• Realization of chemical and other kinds of pollution, especially caused by fires (Fire Sign of Aries), and of its consequences.
• Creation of new rehabilitation systems to treat addictions.
• Regulation of armament. Redefinition of War. Cyberwars. Space wars. Ocean wars. Wars over resources of water, oil, gas. Or end of all wars?
• Redefine ocean boundaries. Disputes over sovereign waters.

The most relevant events during 1703 that relate to the Saturn Neptune archetype, especially related to disputes over territory and boundaries, are:

• The War of the Spanish Succession, which spread over to the North American continent where England, France and Spain fought disputing their colonization ambitions over Native Americans territories. England even adopted the Recruiting Act of 1703 for about a year to forcibly conscript soldiers to fight that war in America (also known as Intercontinental War). 
• An English 'expeditionary', Christopher Codrington, sieged Guadeloupe, an island in the Caribbean under France, and failed to invade it. 
• War of independence in Hungary.
• Russia invaded Sweden, defeats a Sweden fortress that later became Saint Petersburg. This war lasted until 1721. 
• In the North American colonies, Connecticut and Rhode Island agreed on a common boundary line.

Saturn Neptune Conjunctions in Other Signs

September 27, 1773 conjunction happened at 18º 42' Virgo. 

• "Seven ships carrying tea from the East India Company departed London for four American cities. This event was a direct result of the Tea Act, passed by Parliament in May of that year, which allowed the company to sell tea in the colonies duty-free, effectively undercutting prices and creating a monopoly. The ships were destined for Boston, New York, Philadelphia, and Charleston."6
• James Cook voyages of discovery.
• The Public Advertiser publishes a satirical essay titled Rules By Which A Great Empire May Be Reduced To A Small One, written by Benjamin Franklin.
• Daniel Boone attempted with British colonists to establish a settlement in Kentucky, but is blocked by Native Americans.
• During the Russo-Turkish War, Russia occupied Beirut.
• America's first insane asylum opened for Persons of Insane and Disordered Minds in Williamsburg, Virginia.
• French astronomer Charles Messier discovered the Whirlpool Galaxy, an interacting, grand design spiral galaxy located at a distance of approximately 31 million light-years, in the constellation Canes Venatici.

In 1846, Saturn conjunct Neptune in Aquarius, in three instances: April 4th, September 5th and December 11th.

This year was part of a transitional period when the border between the then 'United States' and Mexico fluctuated due to a dispute.

"During the 1840s a doctrine now known as Manifest Destiny was a driving socio-political force in the United States. It envisioned a United States that would extend from sea to shining sea and perhaps would ultimately encompass all of Mexico. The United States annexed the Republic of Texas in 1845, a move that Mexico saw as the first aggressive step and one which prompted a rupture in diplomatic relations. Santa Ana was overthrown for his apparent willingness to negotiate with the United States."

"Although the United States claimed that the southern boundary of Texas was the Rio Grande (Río Bravo del Norte), the boundary had always been the Nueces River. Shortly after his election in March 1845, U.S. President James K. Polk tried to secure an agreement on the Rio Grande boundary and to purchase California, but the Mexican government refused to discuss either matter. Polk ordered U.S. troops to occupy the disputed territory between the rivers. When Mexican and U.S. patrols clashed in April 1846, Polk asserted that American blood had been shed on American soil—an outrage that he claimed required action. Less-warlike politicians, such as the Illinois congressman Abraham Lincoln, to no avail submitted resolutions asking Polk to point out the precise location of this outrage. Polk’s congressional majority formally declared war on Mexico in April.
On April 18, 1847, he defeated Santa Anna in the critical battle at Cerro Gordo (both Saturn and Neptune were in Pisces). Though Mexican resistance continued to be formidable, Scott captured Mexico City on Sept. 14, 1847. Santa Anna went into voluntary exile while a new Mexican government negotiated peace.

Dated Feb. 2, 1848, the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo formally ended hostility between the two countries. By its terms Mexico gave up its claims to Texas and ceded all of the territory now occupied by the U.S. states of Utah, Nevada, and California; most of New Mexico and Arizona; and parts of Oklahoma, Colorado, and Wyoming. It was a humiliating dismemberment of almost half of Mexico’s national territory (albeit a loss of only about 1 percent of the country’s population). The United States paid Mexico $15,000,000 and assumed $3,250,000 in claims held by U.S. citizens against Mexico. Mexican citizens who suddenly found themselves residing in an expanded United States were given the option of returning to Mexico or becoming U.S. citizens and were guaranteed that their property rights would be inviolably respected."7

The last Saturn Neptune conjunction not in Aries was in Capricorn in 1989, March 3rd, June 24th, and November 13th. Because Uranus also participated of this conjunction, it was a year of surprising upheavals and radical changes.

• The fall of the Berlin wall that started the breaking down of the URSS.
• The Tiananmen Square rebellion in China, heavily repressed.
• The UN established the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), recognizing the growing environmental crisis, and the need for collective action. 

Conclusion

This historical review may help us better understand the energetic influences that Saturn Neptune conjunction represent. While Neptune transited Pisces everything seemed to disintegrate and chaos started installing its confusion. Saturn transit in Pisces made the chaos even more concrete. During the simultaneous transit of 15 years of Pluto in Capricorn, all structures of society were collapsing, which contributed to the demolition of government institutions and the decay of constitutional principles.

Uranus in Aries meanwhile, opened the possibilities of new identities and innovative kinds of initiatives. Then Uranus in Taurus shook out our values, and broke the distribution networks of our resources. Together, these transits at the end and beginning of the Zodiac marked a period of transition from an old to a new kind of world, preparing Humanity to visualize another kind of civilization. The Small Grand Trine Uranus Neptune Pluto is probably leading us to its creation. Make no mistake, the transition will not be without trauma.

Pluto will transit Aquarius for twenty years. This is an opportunity for a profound psychological development. The way Pluto does it is by taking you to the depth of your soul (Underworld) and bringing out your shadow, the darkest side of your personality, that place you don't want to show, and not even recognize. How can you recognize and heal your own personal shadow? To help you, here are some ideas according to your Rising Sign, and to some extent to your Sun Sign if you're older than 30. In some cases, this may apply also to your Moon Sign.

Zodiac Signs

In order to calculate the Aquarius house, you have to put either your Rising, Sun or Moon Sign in the First house and count from it. 

Keep in mind that, even if Pluto feels like a demolition, the process you are 'suffering' has the purpose to show you that you can overcome the challenge!

ARIES

In your social life, you may face friends, older relatives, or groups to which you belong that are trying to impose on you their ideas, refute your position, or obsessively persecute you for what you say or do. Your feed in social media could be misleading, and manipulate you. This way, you are encouraged to walk your talk.  If they undermine your creations, you have to learn to stand up for yourself, and in so doing discover what actually makes you happy. You may experience power struggles with your boss or other public authorities because of your or their hidden motives. Also a father figure or external powerful force, like government authority, regulations or some institution may be pushing your buttons. This way, Pluto incites the recognition and transformation of your own power to confront them and develop your own personal authority. Transformations in your job or in the company where you work are directly affecting your home, family, partnerships, and challenging your own health status. This transit is huge because is touching one of your angles and this affects all areas of your life.

You have the opportunity to see raw and clear your faulty ethics and your moral principles. Some powerful spiritual teacher, or learning an eternal truth through higher studies, reading an inspirational book, or learning different lifestyles from people of other cultures creates an internal battle of ideologies. Pluto works slowly and runs deeply inside your consciousness to show you that real power lies on not letting your beliefs be in the way of accepting the truth, no matter how fearful you might be. If you publish written work, are a professor, a spiritual leader, or teaching professional you may discover that your ideas  have the power to transform other people's lives.

CANCER

A profound crisis, some traumatic events, some financial misfortune, or being a victim of some crime can overpower you, and trigger your primal survival instincts. Also sharing financial resources with a partner or financial institution may disempower you so you can learn how to stand on your own feet. Pluto presents those situations to teach you how to conquer your fear of loss, and manage your own energies in relationships.

Similar to Rising Aquarius because the opposition always involves relationships, through the manipulation, power struggles, obsessive compulsive and jealous behaviour of your life partner, you are forced to learn how to stand for yourself, defend your position and empower yourself. Pluto in Aquarius presents you with other people's behaviour to teach you how to conquer your fear to be you, and manage your own energies in relationships. These experiences empower you with the confidence to choose the correct partner for you. 

VIRGO

You may have an overpowering health issue, you may experience a difficult challenge at your workplace or a situation that seems insurmountable. You may feel that you have a hard time keeping up with your daily schedule. In addition to have obsessions about those, Pluto transit in Aquarius will scare you to death, literally. You are forced to tap into your natural healing ability, or into your regenerating power, determination, and stamina to overcome the situations, or illness. This way you will discover your own inner power to sustain your life and heal.

LIBRA

You may experience strong feelings and obsessive desire for someone who is not romantically available, feeling powerless in face of the impossible love. You may have a strong longing for a connection with your children that are separating from you for whatever reason, like in the empty nest syndrome. Outer forces may remove all possibility of enjoyment, or you may not be able to experience joy in your life. Transiting Pluto in Aquarius make you fear loneliness so you learn to generate joy within your own soul.

These experiences make you fear for your safety, or lack comfort and nurturance. You may have feelings of abandonment, or fear of living alone. Pluto gives you these experiences so you find the power inside to give yourself safety. During Pluto transit in Aquarius, you will learn how to provide the security of a home for yourself. You will seek obsessively your wellbeing.  

SAGITTARIUS

Siblings, classmates, close friends, can present overwhelming influences that seem to crush your life force. You may fear your neighbors, or your immediate environment may become dangerous for you. Pluto transit in Aquarius is trying to teach you that you don't need to surrender to what happens to you, and that you have the power to influence your environment and affect the lives of people with whom you relate every day. Developing the social skills necessary to face those challenges will empower you to be able to protect yourself.

Scarcity due to personal financial instability can scare you. You may suffer material deprivation, lack of life essentials to survive, and even hunger. This way, Pluto in Aquarius will show you that you have the power within to provide for yourself, and become strongly independent.

With Pluto transiting your own Ascendant, you may undermine yourself emotionally resisting your own power, doubting your own skills, or capacity to do what you want. You may be afraid of your own power. Your partner, spouse or significant other in your life may manipulate you, be jealous, do things behind your back that infuriate you. These experiences will push you to discover your own power, and learn how to use it appropriately. The transit of Pluto for twenty years in your own Sign will feel like a slow death and an incredible rebirth like the Ave Phoenix. It gives you such a resilience, that by the end, you will be an entirely different person, with even a new identity and possibly different physical appearance. 

PISCES

You may have to face your secret enemies, like addictions, shady dealings, self undoing behaviour, family history 'baggage', past life unfinished business or skeletons in the closet that haunt you even in your dreams. Pluto transit in Aquarius is awakening your unconscious. You may suffer from nightmares that will reveal unresolved psychological traumas. This may take you to a point where you will fear going to sleep. This process will bring all that to the surface, so by resolving those issues, you discover your power, and learn how to use it. If your experiences are too strong to bear, don't hesitate to consult with a professional. Pluto Neptune Uranus Small Trine

Rise From the Ashes

This Small Trine between the three outer planets is a very rare event. It has occured only 5 times in history since 6000 BC (New Stone Age), and never in the Signs in which they are currently placed. It has never happened so exactly as they are about to aspect each other in August 2025 (1º), July 2026 (4º) and June 2027 (6º). 

In my previous article The World that is Coming-Small Trine, I explained the meaning of their energy and relationships. In this one though, I will dive deep into history to discover what events or developments have accompanied the same configuration in previous instances. 

Between 4497 BC and 4492 BC the Small Trine is formed approximately 12 times, but it's never perfected. It's important to highlight that the three planets have opening cycles. Pluto is in Aries, Neptune in Gemini, and Uranus in Leo. Uranus has a waxing trine to Pluto and waxing sextile to Neptune. Neptune has a waxing sextile to Pluto. 

4497 BC

Around that time, the Hamangia culture, located on the West bank of the Caspian Sea has ended, and the dawn of the Sumerian civilization on the Mesopotamia begins. They are considered the crib of civilization, with the development of agriculture, writing, commerce and the social structures of sedentary life. They were the first to have a written language.2

"Sumer was first settled by humans from 4500 to 4000 B.C., though it is probable that some settlers arrived much earlier. This early population—known as the Ubaid people—was notable for strides in the development of civilization such as farming and raising cattle, weaving textiles, working with carpentry and pottery and even enjoying beer. Villages and towns were built around Ubaid farming communities. Their culture was comprised of a group of city-states, including Eridu, Nippur, Lagash, Kish, Ur and the very first true city, Uruk. At its peak around 2800 BC, the city had a population between 40,000 and 80,000 people living between its six miles of defensive walls.

Each city-state of Sumer was surrounded by a wall, with villages settled just outside and distinguished by the worship of local deities.

[Their cuneiform writing], which is used in pictographic [clay] tablets, appeared as far back as 4000 B.C., but was later adapted into Akkadian, and expanded even further outside of Mesopotamia beginning in 3000 B.C. Writing remains one of the most important cultural achievements of the Sumerians, allowing for meticulous record keeping from rulers down to farmers and ranchers." 1

Next small trine of these planets came between 2435 BC and 2429 BC, just 2057 years later! They had also twelve approximations to a sextile. The closest one in September 2435 BC. Pluto was in Scorpio, Neptune in Capricorn, and Uranus in Pisces. In that chart, Uranus was opposite a New Moon in Virgo. The three planets were again in opening cycles. Neptune was in a waxing sextile to Pluto, and Uranus was again in a waxing trine to Pluto and waxing sextile to Neptune, indicating a new beginning of sorts.

2435 BC

This marks another giant step for humanity, the discovery and use of bronze that started the Bronze Age. 

Sumer, a highly developed society, also left a legacy in the area of Justice. 

"The oldest written laws date back to 2400 B.C. in the city of Ebla, where the Code of Er-Nammu was written on tablets. The Sumerians were considered to have a rich body of literary works, though only fragments of these documents exist."1

During the course of the development of their cycle a Semitic King, Sargon of Akkad, conquered Sumer and establishes the first empire on earth, which reaches its height in c. 2220 BC.2 

In South America, there is evidence of long distance trade. 

Stonehenge in British island, and the Khafre pyramid of Egypt are build and the Megalithic culture begins to spread through Europe and the western Mediterranean.3

Other semitic peoples occupy today's Syria and Lebanon.

In many valleys of the world, sedentary life thrives through irrigation for agriculture, and their social organization becomes more sophisticated. For example, the Indus Valley civilization is at its peak. They constructed cities. The two main ones had sewage systems, bronze, trade tokens (early coins), and hieroglyphs. There were even baths at one of the villages, besides the great baths of brick in each city. Another example is 

"Egypt's expanding interests in trade goods such as ebony, incense such as myrrh and frankincense, gold, copper, and other useful metals inspired the ancient Egyptians to build suitable ships for navigation of the open sea. They traded with Lebanon for cedar and travelled the length of the Red Sea to the Kingdom of Punt- modern-day Eritrea—for ebony, ivory, and aromatic resins. Shipbuilders of that era did not use pegs (treenails) or metal fasteners, but relied on the rope to keep their ships assembled. Planks and the superstructure were tightly tied and bound together. This period also witnessed direct trade between Egypt and its Aegean neighbors and Anatolia. Hieroglyphic and hieratic scripts were becoming increasingly common for recording information and communication. Sahure is the earliest known king to make use of a high-seas navy to transport troops over the sea." 4

Next time they were in a small trine was 1311 years later, between 1124 BC and 1122 BC. Pluto was in Pisces, Neptune in Capricorn and Uranus in Scorpio. This time they were closing cycles. Uranus was waning sextile to Neptune and trine to Pluto. Neptune was waning sextile to Pluto. Their aspects orb were closer than the previous ones, with a maximum orb of 3 or 4 degrees. They only had six approximations, and the first one featured Pluto Saturn conjunction. 

1122 BC

The Mycenaean Greek civilization collapses, starting the  end of the late Bronze Age, 

"A period of societal collapse in the Mediterranean basin during the 12th century BC. It is thought to have affected much of the Eastern Mediterranean and Near East, in particular Egypt, Anatolia, the Aegean, eastern Libya, and the Balkans. The collapse was sudden, violent, and culturally disruptive for many Bronze Age civilizations, creating a sharp material decline for the region's previously existing powers."5

The reasons for the End of the late Bronze Age reveal great similarities with our current Small Trine times.

"Geopolitical powers of the time relied on variations of the palace economy system, in which wealth is first concentrated in a centralized bureaucracy before being redistributed according to the sovereign's agenda, a system which primarily benefits the society's elite. This intricate web of dependencies, coupled with the inflexibility of the palace system, exposed these civilizations to the cascading effects of distant disturbances."6

During this century, the Phoenician alphabet is developed.  

"It was one of the first alphabets, attested in Canaanite and Aramaic inscriptions found across the Mediterranean basin. In the history of writing systems, the Phoenician script also marked the first to have a fixed writing direction—while previous systems were multi-directional, Phoenician was written horizontally, from right to left. It developed directly from the Proto-Sinaitic script used during the Late Bronze Age, which was derived in turn from Egyptian hieroglyphs."7

Just 1600 years later, they were in a small trine again, between 476 CE and 480 CE. Pluto was now in Leo, Neptune in Libra, and Uranus in Sagittarius. They were in close configuration ten times, and only once with just 2º orb in 480 CE. It's again an opening cycle: Uranus makes a waxing fire trine to Pluto and sextile to Neptune, and Neptune makes a waxing sextile to Pluto .

This cycle saw the Fall of the Western Roman Empire with its official end in 476 CE exactly at the start of their triangular configuration. Europe is invaded and sacked by hordes of peoples coming from the North. Successively, the Huns, the Visigoths, the Vandals invaded the southern territories and took power.  This huge historical event marks the start of the Early Middle Ages. Great wealth of knowledge and civilization were lost. 

"The 5th century witnessed a period of significant migration and settlement of various Germanic tribes, including the Visigoths, Vandals, Franks, and others, across the Roman Empire."8

With the new peoples came new cultural and religious traditions. Christianity spread its influence and became dominant in the Western Roman Empire. 

By the way, the territory of modern Ukraine is established in Kiev in 482 CE. 

And in North America, the Hopewell Tradition ends. 9

"The Hopewell tradition, also called the Hopewell culture and Hopewellian exchange, describes a network of precontact Native American cultures that flourished in settlements along rivers in the northeastern and midwestern Eastern Woodlands from 100 BCE to 500 CE, in the Middle Woodland period. The Hopewell tradition was not a single culture or society but a widely dispersed set of populations connected by a common network of trade routes. At its greatest extent, the Hopewell exchange system ran from the northern shores of Lake Ontario south to the Crystal River Indian Mounds in modern-day Florida."9

Among the inventions that appeared during this cycle were new alphabets, like the runes in England and the Armenian alphabet, the spinning wheel and the heavy plow. Also, the zero was used in India for the first time.

Just 515 years later, they were in a small trine again, in 991 CE. A close orb happened only twice in the month of April that year. Pluto in Libra, Neptune in Sagittarius and Uranus in Aquarius. We had again an opening cycle: both Neptune and Uranus have waxing sextiles and Uranus a trine to Pluto. 

991 CE

Among the many events during this cycle the following are most relevant for our current times. The Norseman Erik the Red begins the colonization of Greenland and settlements are established on Eastern and Western shores.

 Many rulers of European kingdoms converted to Christianism and got baptized, including Vladimir I, Prince of Kievan Rus.

In China the Song Dynasty reunites the previously separated kingdoms.

Buddhism continues spreading throughout Asia.

The Byzantine Suda encyclopedia is compiled. 

"The Suda is somewhere between a grammatical dictionary and an encyclopedia in the modern sense. It explains the source, derivation, and meaning of words according to the philology of its period, using such earlier authorities as Harpocration and Helladios."10

Here we are in 2025, 1034 years later, at the threshold of another Small Trine between Pluto, Neptune and Uranus. They are in tight orb from 2023 to 2028, and will be exact by degree only in three instances, which they have never been before. August 25, 2025 at 1º; July 18-25, 2026 at 4º; and June 6-15, 2027 at 6º.  However, they will keep a tight orb of 2 or 3 degrees during all those years, something that has never happened before. They will repeat the Small Trine twelve times, one in 2025, five in 2026, three in 2027, and three in 2028.

In addition, Mars will oppose Neptune/Saturn conjunction on August 8-9, 2025 forming a Kite configuration with the other two. If that is not all, Uranus will square the Nodes in Mutable energy at 2º42' Gemini on June 12, 2026! 

Reviewing the historical themes, far from the André Barbault prediction 12, this configuration is associated with the fall of entire civilizations -not just an empire-, transitions from one Age to another, and the consequent dissolutions of borders and geopolitical reconfiguration for the redistribution of resources. 

Regardless the Signs they transit, this Small Trine seems to be related to the intellectual development of humanity as a whole since every time there were milestones in language evolution. In almost all instances, people developed a new communication system, mainly writing, codifying, literature and even an encyclopedia. However, this time around, the communication evolution has taken humanity to the highest level with the Internet (universal encyclopedia) and especially now, AI, which is becoming an intelligent interactive encyclopedia. 

What stability can a kite have?

Finally, please notice that in all the cycles, Neptune is at the midpoint, triggering the energy of the other two planets of rupture (Uranus) and profound transformation (Pluto). This configuration is not stable as it may be thought at simple view. Why? Because any other transiting planet opposing Neptune at the midpoint is a source of instability and volatility of the energy. The Astrologer Lynn Koiner has done extensive research for decades on the Kite configuration, and says that 

"A collection [of data] built up quickly and I noticed that the charts of catastrophes, government changes, plane crashes, disasters in nature all had a kite pattern." 11

I think we, our children and grandchildren are now for a long and shaky ride.
