Chiron teaching music to Achille by Pierre Paul Puget (1700s) |
Chiron in Aries in the 11th House
(maybe for Gemini Rising Sign)
Chiron in Aries in the 11th house gives frustration and feelings of not being able to accomplish one's creative ideals, dreams and wishes with which one's feels identified. Often times, even though one manifests them, because of the inadequacy feelings about one's contribution to society, friends, groups, one ends up not being recognized or appreciated. Even though one is able to tune in to the collective unconsciousness, feelings of detachment and criticism may arise from this frustration.
Projecting from the joy of creativity in the 5th house, one feels that one's performance is not good enough to represent one's sense of self in society. Conversely, one can be a creative maverick, but at the wrong time. It could be the case of a research scientist whose investigation and findings are too far ahead of his or her time, and because of it, the public, not being ready for them, rejects them. It's the case of Nicola Tesla (Chiron in Aquarius, which is 11th house energy) whose genius work was almost entirely annihilated from history. One may compensate by sponsoring other people's ideas or philanthropic projects.
Chiron in Aries in the 11th shows altruistic interests related to the collective. However, the person feels so vulnerable about expressing them that may hide them, or conversely try to channel them in the wrong group organization, where the person may end up completely renouncing them, and becoming captive of foreign ideals. Since Aries rules the head, there also could be some mental awkwardness, eccentric ideas, or unfit way of thinking for the times.
Chiron in Aries in the 5th House
(maybe for Sagittarius Rising Sign)
Chiron in Aries in the 5th house gives a wounded sense of self expression. This house is the area of joy, fun expression, sports, spontaneity, and play. Any expression that involves using the head, like performing arts, singing, mime, or another expressive way using the face may be impaired. One may be very good at a way of enjoying life, like playing games, sports, etc. but unable to do it because of feelings of inadequacy or worthlessness. One may think that is not good enough.
Conversely, one may be trying harder and harder to have joy, to express his creative abilities unsuccessfully. Parents or other people may discourage him or her by making fun, disrespecting, criticizing, or just plainly rejecting one's creative expressions. "Little John is so bad at drawing" can be the devastating comment that can hinder or completely erase his artistic expression, and cloud even the enjoyment of recreation.
The identification with the frustration for not being able to create or being authentically oneself can be painful with this transit. To compensate, one may go crazy making ever bigger efforts to produce art, perform or have fun. One can go to extremes partying and having romantic relationships, taking art classes in painting, pottery or sculpture, or becoming a ridiculous clown in order to prove one's talents and the ability to enjoy life. One may also compensate by teaching others how to enjoy life, or any creative expression.
