Chiron Transiting Aries - Part VII - Pisces and Virgo

Chiron in Aries - Transiting the 2d house

(probably Pisces Rising Sign)

Chiron transiting the 2d house is affecting the way you feel about your values, assets, about your self worth, and your possessions, including your own body and energy. It's an opportunity to learn appropriate values, and appropriate power and energy management.

For example, his influence may make evident your discontent about your salary. You may feel that your work is not appropriately valued and want to obsessively prove its value, or demand to have it recognized for what it's worth. On the other hand, you may decide to do voluntary work thinking that your work is not valuable enough or that you aren't doing well enough, to get paid for it. If you make a lot of money, you may feel guilty about it. Then you may spend it indiscriminately in an effort to avoid those feelings. This is related to an underlying sense of lack of emotional security.

You may feel uncomfortable with your own body. Looking in the mirror, you may not like what you see, because you think you're not 'something' (tall, thin, fat, young, old, serious, smiley, etc.) enough. It is the same underlying feeling of having or being insufficient, inadequate, inappropriate. Chiron may bring a physical trauma, accident or temporary disability, so we are faced with a reevaluation of the body we possess. Minor body discomforts can also help us pay more attention to its needs and become more compassionate with it.

Eating disorders can also be a manifestation of Chiron here, because they show an imbalance on the value we assign to the body and what it can incorporate (possessions).

Chiron transiting the second house can also show us our attachment to material possessions.  We may see now how possessive and materialistic we've been. Sometimes, Chiron transiting there can bring external events, like natural catastrophes stripping us of everything we own, so we are faced with a reevaluation of our possessions. Then we realize what they meant to us.  On the other hand, one may not feel worthy of acquiring possessions, or may realize that some of the things we have don't mean much anymore and start to get rid of them.

Chiron visiting the second house may also disturb the way we feel about our own energy, and sexual drive. Sexuality may be affected by the way we think about our body, our self-esteem and the pleasures we feel we are worth having, receiving or giving.

Chiron in Aries - Transiting the 8th house

(Probably for Virgo Rising Sign)

Chiron transiting the 8th house stirs up your vulnerability with very strong passions or emotions. Traumatic events may trigger the most unconscious or hidden psychological conflicts or bring up unresolved issues from your early life. Sensitivity is heightened, and you feel more vulnerable. Every exchange with another human being or the life circumstances can seem like a life threat.

It's very possible that you undergo spiritual experiences that take you into a profound transformational process dealing with inner insecurities. Those events can show a financial face. For instance, there might be conflicts involving shared resources or assets that take you into a very stressful 'all or nothing' mode of insecurity. Either merging or not merging resources becomes the end of the world. A tendency to avoid the feeling of uncertainty can feed obsessions or possessiveness.

Other transformational experiences can show the face of sexual relationships, which involves the energy merge with another person. One may have a hard time overcoming feelings of vulnerability in order to surrender to the sexual act or intimate exchange. From the polarity of the 2d house, we may not feel comfortable being seen naked (physically or emotionally) because of our insecurities. Therefore, sexuality can become a traumatic experience. In this case, we may develop strong passionate feelings of jealousy, possessiveness, obsession with the object of our affection. Projecting insecurities onto the 'other', intimate relationships can arouse our low-self esteem.

Generally speaking, Chiron transiting the 8th house helps us learn how to appropriately manage our own power and energies when we attempt to share them with another person. We may feel a strong drive to control or overpower others, or on the contrary we may let others have power over us. Becoming too intensely possessive, can provoke others to reject us or cheat on us. Not giving enough power in a relationship can provoke the other to abandon us.

With this Chiron transit, one may feel that life has become cloudy and dark, like a weather ready for a storm. Our moods can be constantly drawn down to the shadow side of life, preoccupied with serious matters, especially with an underlying fear of death. We may approach daily life with an earnest intense attitude that may attract those who suffer profound crisis. People may perceive us as someone who knows how to deal with suffering, which gives us opportunities to play the healer's role.

General Note:
Houses are determined by time and place of birth, they are counted from the Ascendant or Rising Sign. The Whole Sign House System doesn't take into account the time and place factors. Then Charts can be read in different ways according to the House System used. If you don't know your exact Birth information, you can use the Sun Sign as the 1st House, although it may not work as well.
