 Beware of Sudden Rage

Mercury retrograde conjunct Mars travelling direct, both under the Sunrays, looks like a big clash in the sky, and may manifest as an argument, verbal or legal dispute. It could bring about a very explosive situation in legal matters, international trade, partnerships and other relationships involving contracts or agreements of some sort.

At a personal level you may need to watch out for words fast escaping your mouth that you may regret later. Also possible are sudden irritation outbursts, or a spontaneous anger surge making you unusually aggressive. Train yourself on deep breathing ahead of time, so you'd remember it at the precise necessary moment to avoid regrettable confrontations. And stay away from conflictive and agitated people.

You feel also frustrated because when Venus conjunct the South Node, you may be dealing with unplanned expenses. Your close or intimate relationships may require special attention, and some desires or expectations may have to be dropped in order to stabilize the exchange and achieve peace. The Zodiac houses ruled by Venus (Taurus and Libra) undergo some kind of imbalance. Lack of harmony in their themes result in the need to implement changes, especially letting go of something. 

In addition, Venus is now out of bounds (by latitude) and parallel Pluto, and will be until approximately December 7, 2021, when she joins Pluto in Capricorn. Venus is now out of control, meaning that she goes the extra mile to obtain what she desires. On the positive side, she gives extra creative power to artists and all those who work in jobs related to beauty or finances. Talking about the financial situation, today you may hear unpleasant news about currency devaluation, banks going down, impossible budgets, bankruptcies, debt repayment defaults, and more inflation, most probably.

My humble advice, make sure you have a good three-month storage of your 'bear necessities'. Even though you may not be able to control your money, you would like to buy food, water, medicines to cope with the 'rainy' days.

Building Blocks to the Libra New Moon

Mars opposite Chiron

Wounded Human

The Moon is in her Balsamic stage, the last sextile in the closing (waning) phase. 

With Chiron in Aries, we have been facing the threat to life on Earth and the risk of extinction. Around the world, people have been protesting for the right to BE, for the right to EXIST, for the right to express themselves, and their bodies to occupy a space. Considering the rest of the Astrological Chart these days, we can expect not only those protests to continue, but the situation to heat up a notch or two. 

Last time Mars was opposite Chiron, October 8, 2019, it was square the Cancer Capricorn Nodal Axis. Without even us knowing, there was a Damocles Sword hovering over our head. Leaders of the World were already discussing and planning about the Pandemic in the little publicized Event 201 in NY City.  It was not until later in the Mars Chiron cycle, in fact, at the last (waning) quarter square on February 21, that we realized how survival depended on the shelter of the home (Cancer NN) and the required social security (Capricorn SN).

This time around, Mars is with Mercury and the Sun in Libra about to exactly conjoin a New Moon. During the period of his opposition to Chiron (3º before and after), three new synodic cycles start almost at the same time. Moon Sun, Mars Sun and Mercury Sun. All of them will be infused with the wound of Chiron. 

As the ruler of Chiron, the opposition of Mars in Libra with the Sun can be aggressive to say the least. In any case, we may see 'wounded warriors' in many places. Not only will those protesters be more determined and assertive defending their rights and need to be recognized, as 'different' or with unique needs as they might be considered. 

However, Mars in Libra may need to find a compromise in order to preserve life (Aries). People are now waking up to the fact that there is an urgent need to change human behaviour at all levels of the human activity if we are to survive. In the interconnected world where we live, everything one does affects everything and everyone else. Mars in Libra asks us to reflect on how our actions impact others before acting. 

Uranus in Taurus in quincunx could actually trigger the challenge through even more spectacular natural catastrophes. Mother Earth is mad. She is bursting open in so many places, vomiting her magmatic anger and indignation. Cumbre Vieja in the Canary Islands, Etna in Italy, are the most publicized volcanoes these days, but there have been dozens of eruptions worldwide lately.  

What can you do to decrease Mother Earth pain?

In our personal lives, Mars in Libra may represent a person or situation that, intentionally or not, stirs our deepest Chironic wound, and throws us into an emotional breakdown. However, we can use this opportunity to sit with the suffering and study it intentionally, asking what it is, why it hurts, where it comes from. Then, we may find a way out, and the eventual healing process can be initiated.

Building Blocks to the New Moon in Libra

On the Fence, not seeing eye to eye

There is an important trio in Libra. The Sun is travelling close with Mars preparing to conjoin forces and start a new synodic cycle on October 7, a day after the Libra New Moon. Mercury stationed to retrograde on September 27, sustains a potent square to Pluto, who is also stationed to turn direct on October 6.

 These are potent positions for the Libra trio. Your mind is agitated, you are eager to speak and deal with any relationship because you ‘smell something fishy’. You could be suspicious, have difficulty trusting others or incline to coerce the ‘other’ to obtain what you want. In dealings and trade, you may be the victim of frustrating secret manipulations. 

 At the public and collective level, you have worrying thoughts about environmental hazards, global problems that may affect your finances. In fact, now that inflation is generalized in most places of the world, anything can happen, considering not only that Venus is opposite Uranus, but she is also in mutual reception with Mars, and is the ruler of the next New Moon in Libra. 

 One crisis after another, Pluto is demolishing all the institutional structures of the establishment, and will continue to do so for several years, as the Saturn Pluto synodic cycle moves on. Mars trine Saturn today ensuring that your energy is used efficiently and in a disciplined order. You are working hard and seriously, going one step at a time and watching the clock. Saturn wants things done on time and with a high level of integrity and responsibility. 

 At the same time the Sun and Mars are forming and Grand Trine with the North Node at 3º, harmonizing your hard work with the direction you’re heading on to. You are full of Air energy focused on your social connections, working online, making friends, using technology, sending text messages or emails, and probably keeping informed on the subjects that interest you.
