 Mercury Enters Shadow!

    Mercury will be retrograde at 10º♒️20', January 14, 2022, to 24º♑️22' on February 4, 2022. He enters shadow exactly, today, December 28, 2021, in conjunction to Venus. It would be worth pay attention and write down conversations in and about relationships, especially those long lasting ones or those that are now coming back to the 'table' with retrograde Venus. Make sure you listen to what is said with all your senses, care and intuition, because they will be up for reflection, rumination and possible 'regurgitation' later on. Any purchase, contract or agreement will be due for review, reconsideration and especially re-evaluation. Make sure you read all small letters with careful attention. Another crucial meeting for Mercury is his conjunction with Pluto on December 30, which will also be due for review on January 28 and February 10. You will probably want to keep this in mind by writing your notes in your diary so you can go back over in time. 

Sun waning square to Chiron at the same 8º mark where they conjoined on March 28, 2021 (just 20' shy)! The conjunction was also with Venus. Now both Venus and the Sun happen to be in the same sign of Capricorn. We will probably see a repeat of similar themes. Again, it's great to have notes you can go back to read.     In addition, Mars in Sagittarius activates the Saturn Uranus square by sextile Saturn and quincunx Uranus (forms a wedge). This configuration could be associated with the latest so unfortunate natural catastrophe in Brazil (Uranus in Taurus). On the positive side, may Mars sextile Saturn help those involved in hard work helping the victims, and give all of them great physical strength to endure. 

    Watching one catastrophic event after another lately, one cannot but wonder how much worse will it get before Humanity unites in One Purpose to stop the insanity we have been causing. My wish is for Jupiter conjunct Neptune in Pisces to 'flood' people's hearts with compassion and unconditional love to move them to care for those who suffer.

 Let's Move Forward Now

    Just after Saturn turns direct, there are news about social media regulation. Coincidentally after USA Senators accused Facebook of harm to adolescents, all its platforms go down. Facebook says it was a 'mistake', but who believes them anymore?

    Another movement forward comes when Los Angeles Port announces that they will work around the clock to start freeing up the marchandise blocked in its storage due to lack of transportation workers. As predicted, this blockage in the supply distribution caused the scarcity of goods. For the time being it may start moving, but, at least the USA are not out of the woods yet while Saturn is in Aquarius in its third house of transportation. 

    And today is the great day when Mercury and Jupiter turn direct! Hurray! As someone whose chart is ruled by Mercury, this retrograde period was by far the worst. It took three times more effort to do absolutely everything. All purchases I made went wrong, having to return, exchange or cancel orders. Another order has been delayed several times and is still pending, because of shortage. Work had to be redone, after long delays. Other issues were really messy, like crashing software, internet interruptions in the middle of an important communication. You name it, it happened. Well, even the biggest of social media Google and Facebook had long outages! And SouthWest and American Airlines had travel cancellations, with people stranded all over the country. Curious to note that as Mercury has been in Libra, all issues had to do with different kinds of relationships. 

    Let's hope that Mercury and Jupiter start moving forward with gusto now, so we can all have something accomplished. For the moment, celebrate at least this moment of jubilee. Also, important to consider is the fact that their direct motion will be a positive addition to the already very difficult upcoming Aries Full Moon. More negotiations may be needed to get the transportation moving though and get the marchandise delivered.

The Sun trine Jupiter stationary conjunct the Moon

    Since the last day of September, Jupiter retrograde has barely moved 30 minutes of arc. It can be considered stationary already, especially seeing the world events related Jupiter significations. Stationary Jupiter retrograde is a difficult body to move. The Nasa Solar System articles states that "If Earth were the size of a nickel, Jupiter would be about as big as a basketball." As such, He becomes ultra powerful. 

 Notorious for the messy consequences has been the air travel massive cancellations, that disrupted so many people's lives (Jupiter is in Aquarius, the Sign of air travel). Interesting to note that the airlines employees unwilling to receive the covid vaccine can circumvent the mandate by recurring to a religious exemption. Isn't that totally Jupiter (travel and religion) in Aquarius (science, the collective).  

    In the Educational domaine, the NY Times announces the "End of the Gifted Programs", and everybody knows that USA education system is already in shambles. If parents want to obtain results, they need to fight with every tool they are allowed to use for the benefit of their children. 

Cultural and religious identity is under scrutiny as well after the world collapse caused by the pandemic. For example, in the USA people try to name things by its proper name in the case of Christopher Columbus historical account. In addition, many religious people start reconsidering their beliefs and faith in face of the use of religion for obscure political ends. It is a fact that the Catholic Church struggles financially due to the decrease of membership support, which is the case for many others as well. 

  October 15 at 7 am CDT the Moon joins Jupiter stationary which could bring any of those issues to a head. Since the Sun trines their conjunction and Mars approaches this trine as well, there may be some kind of agreements or resolution by an authority figure (i.e. President) that allows things to move forward (Mars).
