Gemini Lunar Eclipse, @ 8º ♊️ 38' on the North Node of the Moon. 

 A Lunar Eclipse makes us aware of the completion of something. The Sun shines his light on our emotional and psychic body, highlighting an issue related to the house occupied by Gemini. On the North Node, this full moon eclipse energy gives us the opportunity to realize that something has reached its expiration date. At the same time we eliminate subconscious conditionings and behaviors, we receive a new actualizing energy.

This eclipse affects the houses occupied by Sagittarius (Sun) and Gemini (Moon). However, the houses occupied by Leo and Cancer are also affected, as well as any planet that the eclipse may conjoin or square within no more than 3 degrees. The Sagittarius related themes are long distance travel, wisdom, freedom, truth, higher knowledge, educational institutions, beliefs, religious systems and organizations, legal and judicial matters, justice system. The Gemini related themes are information, communication, knowledge, data, specifically skilled and healthcare workers, the environment, perception and conceptualization. 

 The Sun with the South Node in Sagittarius indicates that any of those Sagittarian themes has a flaw and needs revision, and depuration. The Moon with the North Node in Gemini indicates that any of those related themes is having a spotlight for realization, assimilation, and actualization. The new awareness of data could be shocking, and has the potential to completely change your life direction in a welcomed way. Moreover, the mentioned Sagittarius themes will suffer detriment, and your beliefs (Sagittarius) would be updated as well, based on the new knowledge.

Personally, you may see changes in authority or father figures (Sun) and in your family, home or mother life issues. The house occupied by Cancer may experience an increase and the house of Leo a decrease. Here is a brief description of how your rising sign could be affected.

Jupiter Pluto Conjunction

Jupiter Pluto Conjunction

Jupiter is the magnifying glass and Pluto, the drill. Everything that is currently at play in the structures of society will be amplified a hundred-fold. The meeting of these two Titans brings events to remember. It is the punch line of a three-act play, one April 4, next June 30, and now November 12. Jupiter ends the 13-year cycle with Pluto and starts a new one. This is just one of the 6 new cycles that made 2020 so eventful. This last conjunction not only is the most powerful because it’s the last punch, but Saturn is the closest, with just over 3 degrees of orb. This makes it a triple conjunction of Titans. This is the Astronomy of it, so you can see that what is in the sky corresponds to what is on the Earth. As the Hermetic Principle states, “as above, so below”.

  As we have already seen this year, Jupiter Pluto blow things, either small or big, out of proportion. Alan White said that “Pluto makes big things small and small things big“. Patrick Watson, Astrologer, wrote a research essay where he goes back in history to prove White’s statement. From Johannes Kepler with the telescope, to the Big Bang theory of Georges Le Maître, including Zacharias Janssens with the microscope, and the discovery of Pluto itself, the Jupiter Pluto conjunction has been present in all of them. 

This year, an ultramicroscopic virus has taken the colossal proportions of a pandemic, picking specifically at the time of the two previous conjunctions. The third and final conjunction is decisive and even stronger, as we are already hearing from medical news around the globe. In some places in Peru, for example, a cemetery is bigger than the city. And we haven’t seen the worst of it yet. Now, the virus jumped species and mutated again, as Denmark has informed the world. How many species can the virus jump? How many individuals can die?


Pluto represents the power of demolition, decomposition, destruction, decay, in order to regenerate, and heal through cleansing, detoxifying, and transforming. In other words, Pluto help us get rid of the s-h-i-t. The Pluto archetype represents the cycle of life, and reminds us that everything in the Universe is vibrating and alive. Even the hardest diamond is constantly changing. However, everything that has been originated, has an expiration day. The four seasons of Nature respect this principle. Pluto reminds us that there is a time when we have to let go, and renew. If we resist that natural law of the universe, then Pluto creates cataclysmic events to force us to let go of what is already dead.

Jupiter expands the vision, the world view, opens the mind to a broader understanding of reality, broadens the perspective, helps us envision the long-term effect. Jupiter is associated with the natural law, moral principles, ethical behavior, the justice system, and the expanded knowledge of the role of different cultures in the survival strategies. Jupiter helps us create belief systems based on ideologies, religious ideals or spiritual outlook.

 I hope at least some sensible people can understand the urgency and scope of this crisis. Still, I see people not disposing of the trash appropriately, not protecting themselves with PPE, not respecting the scientific advice, and even polluting on purpose because they can’t care less about the environment, or other people. Human beings are already living on top of a dump, immerse in trash. Facing the consequences of not respecting the Natural Laws is not only imminent but ineluctable, in order for Humanity to UNDERSTAND. Some of the possible manifestations are 

• Imbalances of power, obvious unchecked power hunger of some opposed to disempowerment of others.
• Amplification of material and power greed so we face their consequences and realize its toxicity. On the other hand, huge losses that show the impermanence of the physical plane, and the need to feed the spiritual side to cope with deprivation and scarcity.
• Stronger grip to power of current authority figures in spite of their unpopular image and lack of popular support.
• Digging really deep into the very roots of our belief systems that forces us to reconsider our values, ethical principles, and ideas of justice.
• Facing the crude reality of our moral or immoral reality in order to understand the role of ethical behavior in social life.
• Magnifying the exposure of the unconscious psychological conditionings that are undermining our behavior. Being exposed to the mental and behavioral derangement, so we understand the need for healing instead of punishment.
• Revision of the perspective for the future of humanity, based on a decadent state of things.
• Understanding the implications of the environmental hazards because of the current Earth pollution and its tangible consequences.
• Show and parade of underground corruption, taboos, secret dealings, criminal and unlawful behavior, heinous actions, extreme ruthlessness, so we see the need to eradicate them if we want to live in peace and harmony.
• Understand the natural cycles of life and accept death as a necessary part of it.
• Extreme ambition, accumulation, and hogging of the natural resources that should be shared with all (land, water, oil, minerals, agriculture).
• Awareness of the decadence of solid structures with the need to reconstruct anew more efficiently.
• Awareness of the decay in the institutional, governmental, societal, educational, financial, and economic structures that require purge and upgrade. Countries and individuals could incur in sidereal levels of debt, or unprecedented debt renegotiation.
• The virus disrupts the economic safety system with its disproportionate demand of resources. Humanity realizes the need to manage resources more efficiently and equitably if we are to survive. 

• Evidence of the corruption or absence of justice in the current political system, for us to understand the necessity of the law, fairness, equability in civilized society. 

• Metamorphose of educational systems.
• Regeneration of long-distance travel.
• Reconfiguration of the Internet.
• Revision of spiritual, ideological and religious beliefs. Organized religions undergo a transmutation.

• And many more impossible to imagine at the moment.

The 23th Degree of Capricorn

This last Jupiter Pluto conjunction happens at the ominous 22º 52’, just 6 minutes away from the point of the Saturn Pluto conjunction of January. They are reiterating the message, in case and for those who didn’t get it yet, most probably because of hardheadedness. By now, most people understand that they cannot expect to have authority figures guide their way. Each individual needs to embrace the maturity, responsibility, and integrity necessary to become one's own authority and guide. To achieve this level of adulthood, it's important to know what these basic Universal Principles are. Those principles are how the Universe works. In order for us to live, succeed, and survive we need to live by them.

Pluto, or the Rebirth of Humanity

Pluto, Death and Rebirth

Since the Sun is transiting Scorpio, let’s talk about this Sign ruler, Pluto. What is Pluto? Where Pluto is located in your chart is the place of your empowerment, or learning about power. The Pluto transit in Capricorn is a period of almost 16 years that is helping you get acquainted with your own power or disempowerment related to the area of life indicated by the house in that Sign. Few are those who know how to use their power for the benefit of all, and not only for their own aggrandizement and enrichment. We've seen at the mundane level, how certain heads of states and countries are demonstrating iron fists, often against others. Because power is not always a translucent virtue, it is the main reason why Pluto brings out the shadows for everyone to see. Usually, the process is about scooping out unconscious psychological conditioning we are not aware we have that makes us act or react in a certain way without understanding why. However, not only that. He also uncovers those skeletons you hide in the closet.

If Pluto has a virtue is an indiscriminate ability to unearth the raw truth, to scrub clean even the dirtiest corners of your psyche. If your ‘house’ is clean, you have nothing to fear. However, few are those ‘homes’ free of ingrained filth in the dark corners. It’s not too simple of a task because other planets may be involved with their dignities and aspects, yet Pluto cannot be obstructed in his work. With high pressure and relentless persistence, he drills to the core and unearth all the dirt, all the rotten smelly material that you may ‘treasure’ so fervently. No one escapes, nothing escapes to his scrutiny. Yet, in the long run, you’re able to recognize his ‘tough love’ as the bitter medicine you needed to heal.

When you think that the ONLY time in the written History of Humanity, Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn met this close together in Capricorn was in 1285 1,  something in your mind may make you aware of the fact that this is not a year like any other. Of course, if you didn’t realize that it's because you live in another Solar System. But if you’re able to take that historical perspective of a 735 year cycle, you may take the virus and everything else that is happening in the world more seriously.

 

This Cardinal dominant chart means drastic dynamic changes

USA is preparing for its Pluto Return in 2022 (at 27º Capricorn February, June and December 2022), which technically, has already started this year. Consider that the chronocrator Saturn has activated three times the USA natal Pluto at 27º 33' Capricorn. The third time, Saturn enters the 27º on November 13 and reaches the 33' mark on November 20. However, one can already observe the intensifying manipulation of power and control, and restructuring of the institutions of power in full swing. This is just a preliminary preparation, the complete deconstruction and reconstruction will take place in 2022.

In fact, the Pluto return is a long process that started in 2008 when Pluto entered Capricorn and will last until long after Pluto enters Aquarius. Before we can enter a clean house, we are to get rid of the dirt, it’s that simple! Yet, we still have many, many, many, more ‘difficult’ conversations to be had. Every shadow has to be brought out onto the light to be faced and resolved. From the origins of the nation, from the invasion of the land by the Europeans, the subsequent de facto land appropriation, and the genocide of the aborigines, the slavery, the persecution and oppression of black people after their liberation, the armed rebellion for independence, the dominion over women, discrimination of minorities, the profound systemic social inequalities, the invasion of foreign countries, the assassinations of other countries’ leaders in order to gain more power, the interventionism, the appropriation of resources from other countries without respect for their sovereignty… and the list goes on and on and on and on. We are forced to face the reality that this country was built on violence, war and innocent bloodshed. And all the ‘benefits’ some of its inhabitants enjoy today, the prosperity, the world ‘leadership’, the abundance, the ‘civilization’ have been built on the shoulders of people who didn’t have a way to defend themselves. 

However, the whole world is under this historical pressure. From now until Pluto leaves Capricorn in 2024, people, should be prepared for things to go to the bottom, the rock bottom possibly in some cases. At different levels, the Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto meet in Capricorn, affects the whole Humanity, and all countries. Similar developments, with different degrees of intensity, will unfold everywhere. Why? Mainly, because we are under karma accounts rebalance. The entire 2020 these three planets have transited over the planetary South Nodes of Saturn and Pluto, located respectively at the 19 and 20 degrees of Capricorn. Those planetary South Nodes can be compared to the ‘Pandora Box’ where the karma related to human civilization's structures of power are accumulated. Referring to 1285, turning the eyes towards the end of the Middle Ages, we encounter the Western organized religions’ power struggles aimed to the domination of people. Christians, Muslins, and Jews were by turns in conflict with each other until they arrived to a certain fragile balance. There was probably not ill-intention, but to put some order in the chaos, mainly due to the generalized ignorance of the population, and the power struggles of the elites. All three sides had each a book of rules and instructions for good behavior and societal conventions to ensure a certain level of peaceful cohabitation. All three sides had nonetheless the same patriarchal pyramidal structure, with the masculine elite occupying the top with the justification of providing security and protection (Capricorn). Underneath, there have been all the rest of society, women, workers, merchants, slaves, etc. working hard to sustain the structure. 

Pluto and Saturn coming back together to their respective South Nodes are unearthing the decay of such a system. Thus, our generation has been the chosen one to review the ‘rotten matter’ as it were, and realize that we are long due for a deep 'spring' cleaning and renewal. Pluto destroys, decomposes, takes apart the pieces, rearranges the elements, and Saturn composes something entirely new. If you’re familiar with recycling, reducing and reusing, you understand what the process entails. 

For example, at a personal level, those born with Pluto in Cancer (in their late 80s now), who in the last few years have experienced the Pluto opposition can tell you that it has involved a process compared to dying and being reborn in the flesh, if they are still alive to tell you something. Since Pluto’s orbit lasts 248 years around the Sun, no person can experience the Pluto return. In fact, only the generation born with Pluto in Cancer can experience the opposition due to its eccentric orbit, because Pluto takes around 87 years from Cancer to Capricorn, but about 161 from Capricorn to Cancer. However, for a country, or for the world, these are years of regeneration. As I've said before, Empires will fall, Empires will rise. Then, it shouldn’t be surprising that a microscopic ‘entity’ (the virus) not only is killing people, but destroying the system of reality as we know it.

Therefore, you need to keep in mind that the rebirth may take a transition period, probably another four years, during which, things may take an even uglier turn. It’s hard to predict what and how the ‘demolition’ will happen, but we are to build a new world, a new reality, a new system, a new way of being, relating, working, learning, etc. I call it a New Era, the Neo-Renaissance. This time, we can make sure that the people decide what the rules are for the new ‘book of rules’. We, the people, are to actively participate in defining the societal conventions (social contract) we want to adopt. We are not at the end of the Middle Ages, where there was not yet a press, and no media outlets to broadcast information, or universities for all. We are in the Age of the Internet, when anybody can learn and study anything imaginable. Let’s get out of the state of ignorance, if we want to participate in the writing of the new 'book of rules'! When the Wound Becomes the Healing

And Venus did it again!
Love is pouring over Humanity once more. Venus was the ruler of the New Moon in Libra, and she is the ruler of this Full Moon as well. This makes love the star of the month, if you understand tough love, of course.

The Moon is at 8º of Taurus and the Sun at 8º Scorpio. Full Moons put us in front of a mirror. There could be another person, an event, situation, or the general circumstances, but whatever the case, it reflects an aspect of ourselves. Keeping that in mind, by watching ourselves in the looking glass, we are made aware of something important by the reflected Sunlight on the Moon face.

This particular Full Moon taps its power in the December 25th, 2019 Solar Eclipse, in a waxing trine. I invite you to visit my blog post, which, unsuspectingly, I then titled “Turn the last page of your old life”. That eclipse was at 4º of Capricorn, conjunct Jupiter, square to Chiron and trine Uranus! Little did we know at that time, the significance and scope of what that energy would bring to the world. As it did bring profound changes to the structures of our reality (Capricorn), spread widely throughout the world (Jupiter), wounding the very core of our human identity and capacity for survival (Chiron in Aries), with a surprising strike (Uranus). Venus was in Aquarius foreshadowing the social separation and the alternative virtual connection that we are now experiencing.

The current Full Moon conjunct Uranus makes a loud call. Uranus’ lightning bolt shines a striking light and surprise us with a realization. That Eureka moment most likely will show us a reality that, either we didn’t know, or we ignored. Because the 8th degree of Taurus belongs to the Taurus decanate and Virgo Dwadashamsha (subdivisions of the Sign)0, this revelation is certainly related to the healing and purification of the Earth body, of our body, but also the radical transformation of our values. The Virgo sub ‘flavor’ of it, adds a factor of discernment, for the ability to separate what is useful from what should be discarded (the wheat from the chaff). 

Uranus, Greek God of the Heavens

Uranus in Taurus correlates to breaks in the ecological food chain, breaks in the food distribution system, disruptions and transformations in the economic system, and the availability of resources, unexpected or abnormal financial developments. Uranus in Taurus is an earth shaker, then natural catastrophes are not discarded, even earthquakes. However, with Uranus, no one can predict, because no matter what you expect, something entirely different may happen. The main symbolisms to remember are that Uranus is electricity and sudden shocks, and Taurus is the material aspects of life.

The Moon is applying to a quintile (71º angle) with out-of-bounds Ceres. Ceres at the critical 29th degree of Aquarius opposes Haumea and sextiles Black Moon Lilith in Taurus. Ceres in Aquarius represents the yin (feminine) attributes of nurturance in the community context. Being out-of-bounds, makes Ceres manifestation extreme. People are creating innovative ways to assist the victims of natural or man made catastrophes. We will probably see a surge in the nurturing urgency for communities in dire need for survival, like people coming in aid to extended family members, the creation of childcare coops, mothers’ support groups, people asking and receiving aid from friends, and humanitarian charity groups.1

All that not without a pressing reason. On the one hand this Full Moon is also the culmination of the cycle started with the New Moon in Taurus in April this year. I invite you to recall what was that cycle about by watching my video titled "Are We Eating Tomorrow". On the other, Ceres opposite Vesta makes us aware of the needs of others, and invites us to learn to balance our needs with the moral responsibility we have towards nurturing others.2

In addition, Ceres trines Haumea, the TNP associated with the regeneration and fertility of Nature and the Earth. Mercury by Haumea’s side is sending her critical message, stating that Nature is in Labor and she needs support and care, safety, peace and gentleness so she is able to keep giving freely of her ‘fruit’. Another messenger is Black Moon Lilith in Taurus, asking ‘do we have enough to feel safe? Is there enough food to survive? She unveils the shadows of security in our fear of scarcity.3 There is urgency on this call, we should listen, understand and care. 

Haumea, Goddess of Fecundity

The Sun, beaming his Kingly light from the sign of the shadows and the underworld, reigns over the Moon and Uranus. We are certain to be shown significant ‘decayed’ material extra clearly. The Sun in the 8th degree of Scorpio is in the Pisces Dwadashamsha, and the Scorpio decanate. These added sub influences to the original meaning, talk about a global or widespread regeneration of sorts. Scorpio is the sign of death and rebirth, so the Sun points to something dying to be reborn, something destroyed to be rebuilt, or decomposed to give birth to something new. Considering that both, the traditional and modern Scorpio rulers, Mars and Pluto are still square, reveals an enormous destructive tension between the signs of Aries and Capricorn, radiating indirectly to Libra and Cancer. With the accumulation of planets in those signs, there is an increase of the potential for change (Cardinal energy).

Let’s come back to Venus, ruler of both, the New and Full Moons. Although she has now regained dignity now traveling her own home sign of Libra, she quincunx this Full Moon. This means that her longing for harmony and peaceful social activity and relationships is at odds with the situation or events the Full Moon causes. Moreover, Venus opposes Chiron and squares that December 25, 2019 Solar Eclipse, reactivating the reason to ‘turn the last page of your old life’.

Venus and Chiron mirroring each other challenge us to love and embrace the wound as the instrument of the healing process. Chiron reminds us the we are all now wounded healers, and that the healing method is the wound. Instead of rejecting and projecting the wound onto others, we are to recognize that loving and accepting those who or that what have wounded us, paves the way to our own healing and renewal. This way, covid19 is our wounding healer, and Humanity is under homeopathic therapy. Thus, let us see ourselves in the mirror of our beloved. Chiron in Aries is all about ‘I am not good enough’. Venus on the opposite side in Libra as the ‘I love you’ symbol, seeks balance and reconciliation with ourselves.

This reconciliation can only be achieved by the purifying healing and rebirth that this Full Moon offers.

The Scorpio Season

October 22 to November 21, 2020

From October 22 to November 21 starts with the ingress of the Sun in the Sign of Scorpio. Considering the circumstances, I thought it would be interesting for my readers to dive (since going deep is the Scorpio specialty) into the chart that defines a very crucial month of the year. 

 The Sun going forward and Mercury backwards will meet in just two more days, so here we talk about a ‘combust’ Silver Winged Messenger. Technically still in opposition to Uranus, the nervous system is in maximum alert, there is anxiety and volatility in the air. All Mercurian symbolisms are haywire. You mind is fickle because of the overload. You may start one thing, and go to another, another and another, without being able to finish anything or making sense of what you’re doing. Your computer heats up, freezes, crashes, internet gives you error and other weird warnings. It’s sensible to make sure to save your work often, even to keep copies in two different drives. Do not leave electrical appliances on unattended. In just one turn, you may forget what you were doing, and when you finally remember, it’s too late. I can’t stress enough how beneficial a daily meditation can be to help you cope with this kind of energy. Mercury, under the Sunrays, in Scorpio and retrograde, is stressed out, which translates in our minds being extremely charged. 

We can hope that October 25, by midday, when Mercury and the Sun conjoin at 2º48’ Scorpio, the lightbulb goes on and some clarity lightens your path. Dane Rudhyar's Sebian symbol of 3º♏️ is

The Moon is at her perfect waxing square exactly conjunct Pluto at 22º46’ Capricorn, activating once again the precise degree of the historical January 12 Saturn Pluto conjunction. There is no doubt that the Scorpio month promises to be TRANSFORMATIVE. More so because both rulers of Scorpio, the traditional Mars and the modern Pluto, square each other, creating a power house of heat and pressure capable of melting everything in their crucible. 

If this year was compared to a volcanic activity, the first nine months, the magma was rumbling underground, the three last months are the actual eruption, burning and burying the ground for miles around. The ground is the old reality. In 2021, we will probably be mourning the loss of our old reality, some digging underneath the ‘cooling lava’ for the remains, some refusing to accept that there is no way back, that we need to reconstruct reality on new ground. Others will be happy to leave all that behind and start anew. This is a collective as well as a personal process. So, let’s brace ourselves anywhere you are in the world. There is no corner spared, this is a historical shift in Humanity's evolution.

Let’s not forget that the New Moon in Libra ruled by Venus was opposite exactly to Eris in Aries, still square Pluto.  The 'eruption' is certainly culminating soon.  

The Sun Ingress in Scorpio 2020

In this chart, Venus is now at 23º Virgo, in a tense conversation with Eris. People are ready to fight with all their might for what they value and desire. You may yourself feel a greater determination to achieve something you strongly want. As Venus trine the Capricorn stellium (group of planets together), you eagerly want something to change and for good (Pluto). This desire is serious and enduring (Saturn). 

Besides, with this much ‘cardinal’ energy something will give for sure. Changes are certain and unavoidable. This is the month when the Mercury meeting with the Sun will definitely result in a revelation that points our prow to the right direction (North Node in Gemini). 

During the 'eruptive' events, would be the moment when, like Lot in the Bible story, those who look back become statues of salt. Psychology explains that people going through traumatic life events, may have two reactions, fight or flight. However, some freeze, and stay stuck in the grief, often in denial of the change. We can see examples of the three groups now anywhere you look. 

 You will not find the truth outside of yourself. The truth is not in the news, is not in other people’s opinions. Then, let us find sanctuary within. Let us create a holy space of introspection and reflection, so we can have a crystal-clear mind as well as an open channel of intuition. The only way to realize the truth is to be in your body, integrate, and become whole, present here, now.
