Mercury Direct

    Venus turned direct right before the end of January, like if she wanted to ge ready for Valentine, right? Well, her Valentine may not be so sweet this year being 'sandwiched' between Mars and Pluto in Capricorn. It would be like Leia between Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader while they fight. 

    Mercury turns direct February 3 or 4 depending on where you live in the world. This Mercury retrograde was not an easy ride. In Aquarius he was involved in the Saturn Uranus struggle. In Capricorn he was serving as the spokesman of the Underworld, bringing out grave news of the worst kind. That's the major feature of its Retrograde, because Mercury is still due for the third and final 'job' for the Dark God of the Hades. As Mercury heads out of Capricorn again, he meets with Pluto. At which time, Humanity may hear powerful news, that could send a chill up the spine. 

    Having those two direct again means that all planets travel direct. You may feel that things are finally moving. From your heart to your mind into your hands you can 'march on' and push your projects forward. 

Humanity is going through great transformational times. If you read Cosmos and Psyche by Richard Tarnas, you understand why. There is no need to fear, everything that happens we have created with our consciousness, being agents of the Cosmic Consciousness. Carl Sagan already said that 

“The cosmos is within us. We are made of star-stuff. We are a way for the universe to know itself.”

Be your Sun like a Lion!

    It's important to understand that chaos is the materia prima for the re-evolution of Consciousness. Chaos may be scary. However, fear and love are two sides of the same coin. Instead of fear, you need to tap into the energy of your heart, love, creativity, passion, and higher ideals. As consciousness agent, you are able to use the power of destruction and re-creation in a positive way. 

    Now more than ever, it's time to turn to the Sun in your chart and live it. If you have been living its shadow side, it's time to learn about the bright side of it and change direction. The Sun is joyful, magnanimous, generous, magnificent, playful, cheerful, grandiose. Like a Lion, the Sun is the natural authority.

Broken Human

    Since Mars rules Aries, where Chiron is, the Mars Chiron square weighs heavily in the chart for February 5, 2022. Mars in Capricorn strongly supports with action the designs of governments and corporations. He acts as the executive drive, quickly obeying the orders, with force if necessary, without hesitance. In doing so, there will probably be more than one 'wounded warrior' (Chiron in Aries). 

    In your personal life, just be careful of your impulsive actions in the house occupied by the Sign of Capricorn that may damage your Aries house. 

    Even though Mars is still in early Capricorn, Pluto's influence is already effective, and will be building progressively until their meeting early March. As their conjunction coincides with the US Pluto return, the signs are already visible. Under the global healthcare crisis, who would have thought that another war was coming? yet, the conflict is already here, ready to explode.

    Have you ever met one of those couples that cannot live together, but are also unable to live apart? Or that relationship where one partner wants things his or her way and the other has to 'submit'? For some people, this is a very familiar situation. They live in constant struggle. However, their egos feed on it, they have a pathological need to live this way. It is the submission of the 'other' that make the first one keep his or her power, because the 'other' needs to be dominated. So they seem to always strive to prevail one over the other. Obviously, if the first person doesn't have an 'other', how can he/she prevail over anyone. They need each other in order to keep the dynamic going. 

    The US and Russia situation is not much different from that couple. How can one develop 'muscle' if the other is not opposing it? It's been demonstrated that they don't have the ability to get out of the pathological dynamic. 

    Yet, the world doesn't really need a 'first' power, at all! Nonetheless, since History can remember, there has always been antagonisms. In all civilizations and ages the people of here were against the others from there. 

    Could someone please consider the idea of sharing? There is abundance, and enough for everybody. In fact, who got the idea that human beings have ownership of anything on Earth? What arrogance made us think that we possess the Earth? Do we even have the power to generate water? Can we create rocks, magma, air, light? Aren't we, human beings the most foolish beings in the whole Universe, capable of taking each other's lives only for the hunger of power? Where are wisdom, integrity, maturity, responsibility, honesty, trustworthiness? 

    Oh, World, I am so tired of you, your insanity, and your foolishness!

A Long Lasting Love(?) Affair

     Mars in Capricorn

Slowly but surely up the mountain go the goats

    As one could expect with Capricorn, planets here not only show endurance, but build for the long run. Of course, that will be the case with Mars this time. Yet, considering that he's OOB, the best or the worst of his significations could be expected. Two days later, Mercury retrograde will re-enter Capricorn and we will have a stellium of coexistence that will last 21 days, from January 24 to mid February. Not only will they have a long visit, but they will have five exact conjunctions. With all those 'sounds', you can count on having a loud Capricorn house, so brace yourself in that area of experience (zodiac house), because it will be eventful. 

    In addition, Mars and Venus will have the longest love affair possible. They will be conjunct within 3-degree orb since February 4 until March 23. But, like new lovers not wanting to separate, they will continue 'dragging' along until the first few days of April. Love relationships, new and old, can take advantage of this passionate energy to prolong the pleasure of being together, and build a durable nest that can endure any challenge; especially after meeting with Saturn in Aquarius!

    However, at the mundane level, if the situation was 'hot', count on the temperature raising several notches. Especially for the first few days, maybe, Mars will agitate governments, corporations and institutional systems around the world. There are news of the US already sending military 'resources' to Ukraine. Venus may be of help to soothe the mood, but the triple conjunction of Venus, Mars and Pluto at 27º♑️ making a conjunction to the USA natal Pluto will probably be an unavoidable crisis. Yes, a fight starts at the second strike. When goats butt their corns they make loud noise. 

The Two Goats, Aesop Fable

    Here we have two decadent Empires, Russia and the US, gasping for survival, smacking and grabbing whatever is available nearby to help them stay afloat, and struggling against each other to keep the other at bay. The fall is imminent unless each embraces the new. None of them can survive continuing the old ways of managing 'business'. Holding on to the obsolete past glory can only drown them faster and probably deeper. 

    To understand what is at stake in Ukraine, one needs to remember that they are considered a 'granary of the world' with the most fertile soil of the globe. Thus the economic interest of Russia to ensure food -among other resources- for their future. In the middle are the peoples, the common folk like you and me who will endure and suffer the consequences. On the other side, those who are already rich and powerful, will of course become even richer and more powerful, as it has been the case in every economic crisis in the last century. 

Goats Share the Mountain Peacefully

    Conflict and the transformation (Pluto) of the established system is expected. On that respect, if one is not prepared, now it's too late. Mars and Venus will also trine Uranus stimulating once again the Saturn Uranus square. But once they arrive in Aquarius with Saturn, things can get messy at the square with Uranus. Then we will see sparks fly! 

After all, being at the top alone may not be such a stable position!

    Capricorn developments are slow and require hard work, but they are durable and resistant to change. Whichever turns out to be the outcome, it's definitive, be it in your personal life as well as in the political sphere. You may commit or part forever. The advice is to take things slowly and carefully, one step at a time, like the goats climbing the mountain affirming one leg before venturing the next one. There should be enough space and resources for everybody if shared.

Mars Conjunct the Galactic Center

    Today, we've been experiencing a somewhat rare transit because OOB Mars meets the Galactic Center at 27º ♐️. It's rare because  it only occurs every two years and draws to us quite a movement of ageless cosmic energies. 

    It was an eventful day for me after receiving a call from my elderly mother (90). She had a memory regression that took her to the time when she lived with her (long deceased) mother and brothers. She insisted that she had to go back 'home' to her mother because one of her brothers was getting married. There was a lot more to her story because she was utterly confused by all those memories coming to her mind at once pell mell, but that's enough to illustrate what I want to describe now. 

    I looked at her chart and lo and behold, transiting Mars is sitting on the Galactic Center in her 12th house of the past and where everything merges with everything in the timeless unconscious memory. Mars transiting the 12th house can arouse subconscious psychological issues connected to people in the spiritual world, precisely the dead. To confirm, I also checked my and my sister's charts and we both have Mars transiting in hard aspects to the mother significators, the Moon and the ruler of the fourth house. 

    My mother said "my mother told me that all the problems were resolved, that I could go back home now". I reassured her that her mother cared for her even from Heaven. She responded, "maybe I will die soon". We recently celebrated her 90s, and even though in fairly good health, her body is decaying as she ages. 

 
    The Galactic Center is the pivot around which the Solar system orbits, taking ~240 million years to complete the loop. Scientists, astrophysicists, and astronomers have now concluded that its attractive power comes from the Black Hole at the center, where everything ends and everything begins. 

    The Galactic Center is thus the Infinite Creative Power, the generator of our cosmic neighborhood.
At the same time is the source of eternal electromagnetic power that sustains everything in order and harmony. It radiates an amount of energy impossible for a human being to conceive, or imagine. Yet, human beings receive from it, the life and the genetic information, the electrical current and power to sustain this smart machine that a human entity is. 

    It most probably contains infinity of cosmic memories and 'lifes". From it, we receive downloads from the past into our consciousness. If you pay close attention to subtle energies, you can pick up and identify those pieces of ‘galactic information’. Philip Sedgwick describes it this way:

“The resulting energy squeeze emits a wide array of powerful radiation, most notably infrared (IFR) in this instance. This Infrared energy pressures the subconscious mind, providing the release of learned behavior and memories, both negative and positive, all in the interest of moving forward.

The energetic crowding process pushes out mentally/emotionally stored data to clear space for new information to enter both the conscious and subconscious minds. Often the information released does not follow a sequential pattern. Holes are left in one's data field. Access time to known information and stored memory increases. So periodically, it becomes time to rearrange life’s data and re-pack it.”

 
    The process can be compared to a computer upgrade, where files are downloaded and stored in order to improve functionality. 

    As it travels around the Galaxy, the Solar System passes through cosmic fields where it has never been before… well at least not in 240 million years! Thank goodness we receive those upgrades to help us go through new and completely unknown energy fields charged with unknown matter and phenomena.
    

    So, this week, pay attention, tune in to the “Generator”, you may learn things that you’ve never even dreamt about.

Mercury Cazimi - January 23, 2022

 Mercury Inferior Conjunction

    Often times, Mercury retrograde is the necessary journey back over certain tricks your mind plays, right? You did something because you were convinced of certain idea, then some time later, you have to rethink the issue due to an adverse outcome or different results from what you have planned. At a certain point you end up discovering what was your error, and look for the way to resolve it. 

    Well, I thought that process is perfectly reflected in Mercury retrograde motion and his meeting with the Sun (Apollo). Curiously enough, I also found a parallel with Mercury's Myth. As you probably remember, the Roman Mercury God was the equivalent to the Greek God Hermes, and Apollo was his half-brother. Let's go back in time to remember the story.

'Hermes was known to be a cunning trickster, stealing things from the other gods and hiding them in incredible places!

Back when Hermes was just a toddler, he once left his cradle and set out on an adventurous journey to Pieria, in Northern Greece. His goal was to steal the cattle of his half-brother Apollo.

Hermes very soon discovered the herd. One by one he began to pull the hooves from the cows' feet and reattach them in reverse order. He did the same with his own sandals. Then he took the herd, which now seemed to be going backwards, and hid them in a cave. Finally he returned to his cave in Mount Cyllene in Arcadia.

Apollo soon discovered that his flock was missing and began to search the surrounding area. The tracks he saw along the way were only confusing and caused the god to despair.

Of course, Apollo was the god of prophecy, so he soon found out about the thief and furiously went to Mount Cyllene find Hermes in his cave. Little Hermes was sleeping peacefully in his cradle, but Apollo didn't care - he grabbed the infant and took him to Mount Olympus, to be judged by their master Zeus, the king of the gods.

In front of Zeus, Hermes initially denied everything, but in the end he had to confess. Zeus found the story quite amusing, so he did not punish Hermes, but only required him to return the flock. Hermes regretted what he had done and offered Apollo his lyre as a gift. The lyre was a musical instrument that Hermes had created all by himself from the shell of a turtle.

To repay Hermes for his kindness, Apollo returned the gesture by giving Hermes a golden staff to guide the flocks. From that moment on, peace reigned once again at Mount Olympus and a strong friendship began between Hermes and Apollo." (Thanks to Greek-Gods.info for the text; bold added by me)

The story can be read at different levels. It is just a story, but it is also a metaphor for our mind. Follow the bold words comparing them to the way your thinking works, and see a great parable about your trickster mind. Remember that the Sun is your core essence, the inner light that can shine over and 'find out' any mind 'tricks', be it error, misconception, misunderstanding, or ruse.
