Mars Saturn Conjunction - April 4-5, 2022

     Both the rulers of the Nodes of the Moon form a T-square with them. At the end of March, Venus, ruler of the North Node in Taurus, joined Saturn and squared the Nodal Axis. Now Mars, traditional ruler of the South Node in Scorpio, takes his turn, and will do the same on April 4-5, 2022. 

    If Venus got her values straightened, and she adopted more austere tastes, learned to love more formally at her meeting with Saturn, Mars also needs to get his act together. Saturn will impose restrictions on the impetus and fast drive of Mars, and originate great frustration. Saturn thwarts all and any kind of activity, including military endeavors, because he imposes the need for better organization, considering time constraints and rules. Mars may want to charge forward, but Saturn says, 'it's better to wait for the right time, the right place, and the right measure'. 

    You probably remember very well when two years ago, Mars also joined Saturn, then at 0º Aquarius (March 31, 2020), because you were told to stay home. Then, that homestay lasted a long time, on and off, in different forms and levels of confinement, but you had to follow the rules. 

    Here we are again! but with Vesta, Juno and Venus flanking the Mars Saturn conjunction maybe things will take a less oppressive even though equally committed turn. Astrologers cannot tell exactly what the issue at hand will be, but one thing is certain, the whole collective (Aquarius) will be affected. Given the circumstances, we may guess that military operations may require better planning for success, or otherwise find obstacles or experience delays. People in certain parts of the world need to take refuge in safe places, or the 'virus' may take over again (certain China cities are already in lockdown), or internet communications (Aquarius) may be stalled due to criminal cyber works. Another possibility could be that electrical power plants get out of order due to cyber 'special interventions' and people get cut off from the rest of the world. 

    In your personal life, any activity will be limited, either because of outside influences or because your muscles (Mars) cramp up (Saturn) and it's hard to move (this already happened to me, by the way). You feel frustrated because you try to start something and some obstacles doesn't allow you to do it. Look at the Aquarius house in your chart to see what area of your life will be affected. 

    If Venus square the Nodes has made you realize that you can't count on the previous global sources of distribution of goods, and that you needed to rely on more natural resources to survive. Mars square the Nodes may see that you have developed a codependence on the globalization and you need to start working in your local community garden to increase the chances of a good supply of cheaper food. 

    These two squares to the Nodes, accompanied by Saturn's bring great frustration to the consumer. Inflation through the roof forces you to simplify your life. Buy only what is necessary, be more frugal and waste less. Next time you want to throw food away, you'll think twice. 

    Finally Saturn squares the Nodes as well. He puts the brakes and you need to stop, reassess, develop a new plan to change directions. It will take more time and effort, but the compass goes towards Taurus. Suddenly you focus your attention and efforts on that house of your horoscope.

    April promises to be challenging, but you were born to live during these times, you can do it!

Zero Aquarius and the Air Epoch

    Venus Mars are travelling jointly from March 2 to 6, 2022 over Pluto from Capricorn into Aquarius exactly the same way Jupiter and Saturn did from December 1st to 20 of 2020. The 'romantic' couple start kissing at 27º Capricorn and consummate their 'love' at 0º Aquarius in the same way Jupiter and Saturn did back in 2020. 

    This represents the not so smooth archetypal transition from the solid structures of Capricorn to the lighter and lofty networks of Aquarius. It means that under Pluto the world pyramidal pillars of Capricorn social conventions have fallen. Humanity is ready to build a different kind of social structures at a horizontal level. These new structures in the making, even though inflexible (fixed quality), are invisible, based on electrical waves, but mobile, softer and flowy in nature. 

    According to extensive research by ISAR President Astrologer Aleksandar Imsiragic, the 0º ♒️ is one of the degrees that play a pivotal role in the Age of Aquarius. For example, the birth chart of Sophia AI, the intelligent female robot who was registered as a Saudi citizen on October 25, 2017, had been activated February 14, 2016 @ 11:04 am in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, has Mercury (mind) at 0º♒️29'. Her iconic 'birth' is a precursory milestone to the Age of Aquarius. 

    The zero degree Aquarius has been activated several times in significant ways since 2018. Mars was at 0º♒️, the exact day Uranus made his entry in Taurus forming the waning square on May 16, 2018. You can refresh your memories with this news headlines. On March 31, 2020, Mars conjoins Saturn at that degree as well, and you certainly do not need a memory refresher for that day. Jupiter joined Saturn there on December 21, 2020, giving official birth to the 200 year Air (signs) Era when these Chronocrators will be joining forces only in Air Signs, and dramatically changing the spirit of the times. 

    And here come beautiful and creative Venus and impetuous Mars striding along in Capricorn in the company of Pluto for a triple conjunction on March 2, before joining in passionate embrace at 0º♒️, on March 6. They mark a quite rare event. Venus and Mars will never again meet together with Pluto in Capricorn for several centuries. So whatever the triple cycle starts there may last at least 250 years. However, at the same time they also start a new cycle in Aquarius. This may mean that two parallel systems will be running at the same time, one rock solid, the other airy. 

    Because guess what?! Next time Mars comes back around, he joins Pluto at 0º♒️ on February 13, 2024. Not only that, but Venus follows suit also meeting Pluto at 0º♒️ just three days later, February 16, 2024! I bet, by then Humanity will get what 0º♒️ means, for sure!

Closing the Moon Cycle

     Closing the Aquarius/Leo Moon cycle    

    Today the Moon in Sagittarius is at 270º waning square to the Sun, closing her cycle for this month. This means that you are integrating and assimilating what you started at the Aquarius New Moon. The Moon is decreasing her luminosity slowly, losing her energy submitting under the Sun rays. 

    The Pisces cycle already started on February 19 with the Sun ingress the Sign. You may already feel the itchiness of expansive urge, be it an eagerness to learn more about something, travel in an 'oceanic' adventure, engage in a spiritual practice, or mixing with the cultures of the world. At the same time, the confusion and chaos may increase in that area of experience (zodiac house) colored by Pisces. Definitely, the chaos and confusion increasing around the world.

    It is clear that the most significant feature of this last quarter is the triple conjunction of Venus Mars and Pluto. The strong passions make the air 'thick' with tension and high stress levels. You could tap into amazing levels of energy that you could apply to any issue related to the Capricorn Zodiac House on your natal chart. 

    If you don't feel it, there is always other people related to each House, i.e. the first house is you, the 3d your siblings, the 7th is others, the 5th is your children, etc. Those people may be the ones playing out that energy in some way. Remember that not all transits affect you all the time, this depends on your personal chart, and the stage you are at in your life, as well as your level of consciousness in the evolutionary cycle.

    Yet, the Venus Mars Pluto conjunction sextile Neptune could lead to confusion in actions, or at least such strong passions can blur the reason. Individuals with mental imbalances may suffer derangement, delusions and unstable mood. Trine and sextiles are not necessary all good and happy. The angle of influence allows the energy to flow easily, but the planetary archetypes are the same; the result depends on the way you use them. 

    Another factor to consider about the Venus Mars conjunction is that it goes through the same 22-23 degree of the memorable Saturn Pluto Sun Mercury conjunction of January 2020, and later Jupiter Pluto conjunction that happened three times that year. I'm sure you remember that very well. This means that whatever Venus Mars trigger here it is related to the events of 2020. How does the Russia invasion of Ukraine relates to 2020 covid pandemic? We may find out, or not, Pluto likes to keep and divulge secrets to his whim.

    Moreover, the triple conjunction of Venus, Mars and Pluto is a very rare event, let alone in Capricorn, the sign of institutions, and all social structures, rules and regulations of society. Next time, February 2024, they will almost conjunct at the same time, but already in Aquarius. This means that their Capricorn meeting is a new but very long cycle that may last centuries until they meet there again.  

    The Ukraine invasion by Russia may mark once again another centuries long East/West confrontation, that, as a matter of fact, has never ended. It doesn't mean that they will always be at war, but as in all relationships there is oppositional confrontation, projection, reflection and mirroring. And there is always an opportunity to use the shadow of power over each other in the struggle for survival of the illusional ego. I refer you to my post series about the Saturn Pluto conjunction where I dug back into the historical antecedents and predicted the resurgence of the East/West dichotomy. 

    Mercury gets now involved in the Saturn Uranus last quarter square, but he doesn't keep secrets. In fact, his work is to communicate, to tell all about it. We can expect opinionated messages, very stubborn mental positions and ideas that want to stick for the long run. The media has turned to a very earnest tone that conveys fear in face of the radical changes (Uranus) in the material reality (Taurus). Try not to let that fear stick to your mind. On the contrary, the more you focus on love, kindness, and peace, the more you contribute to conflict resolution.

    Yes, the situation is dreadful, but fear not, the Universal Essence of life always takes care of itself. The actual events may not make sense to you and me, however, there is always a tendency in the Universe to balance the extremes. The best spiritual strategy is not to give room to rejection, hate, blame, or personal resistance, because all those feed into the conflict and strengthens it. Each individual contributes to it, because we are not separated, we are ONE. But peace, gentleness and kindness towards all beings help to dissolve conflict. Remember that conflicts do not happen in a vacuum, they are the result of an opposition (polarity) that has gone out of balance and its trying to rebalance itself. This is perfectly illustrated in the Zodiac Wheel with the Sign polarities. If you are caught in the polarity, just find the fulcrum in the seesaw and stand there.

    The general public is not able to see the imbalance because it's only fed the information that the powers that be want us to know. Usually, the general public is manipulated by the media so the public opinion feeds back onto their interests. So, if you don't agree with the status quo, you need to realize that your thinking, your behavior, lifestyle, and consumer habits are supporting it. Many people don't like it, however, even though it  may sound cliché, in order for things to change "you must to be the change you want to see in the world".

Let's March On - Mercury Direct

    Venus turned direct right before the end of January, like if she wanted to ge ready for Valentine, right? Well, her Valentine may not be so sweet this year being 'sandwiched' between Mars and Pluto in Capricorn. It would be like Leia between Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader while they fight. 

    Mercury turns direct February 3 or 4 depending on where you live in the world. This Mercury retrograde was not an easy ride. In Aquarius he was involved in the Saturn Uranus struggle. In Capricorn he was serving as the spokesman of the Underworld, bringing out grave news of the worst kind. That's the major feature of its Retrograde, because Mercury is still due for the third and final 'job' for the Dark God of the Hades. As Mercury heads out of Capricorn again, he meets with Pluto. At which time, Humanity may hear powerful news, that could send a chill up the spine. 

    Having those two direct again means that all planets travel direct. You may feel that things are finally moving. From your heart to your mind into your hands you can 'march on' and push your projects forward. 

Humanity is going through great transformational times. If you read Cosmos and Psyche by Richard Tarnas, you understand why. There is no need to fear, everything that happens we have created with our consciousness, being agents of the Cosmic Consciousness. Carl Sagan already said that 

“The cosmos is within us. We are made of star-stuff. We are a way for the universe to know itself.”

Be your Sun like a Lion!

    It's important to understand that chaos is the materia prima for the re-evolution of Consciousness. Chaos may be scary. However, fear and love are two sides of the same coin. Instead of fear, you need to tap into the energy of your heart, love, creativity, passion, and higher ideals. As consciousness agent, you are able to use the power of destruction and re-creation in a positive way. 

    Now more than ever, it's time to turn to the Sun in your chart and live it. If you have been living its shadow side, it's time to learn about the bright side of it and change direction. The Sun is joyful, magnanimous, generous, magnificent, playful, cheerful, grandiose. Like a Lion, the Sun is the natural authority.

    Since Mars rules Aries, where Chiron is, the Mars Chiron square weighs heavily in the chart for February 5, 2022. Mars in Capricorn strongly supports with action the designs of governments and corporations. He acts as the executive drive, quickly obeying the orders, with force if necessary, without hesitance. In doing so, there will probably be more than one 'wounded warrior' (Chiron in Aries). 

    In your personal life, just be careful of your impulsive actions in the house occupied by the Sign of Capricorn that may damage your Aries house. 

    Even though Mars is still in early Capricorn, Pluto's influence is already effective, and will be building progressively until their meeting early March. As their conjunction coincides with the US Pluto return, the signs are already visible. Under the global healthcare crisis, who would have thought that another war was coming? yet, the conflict is already here, ready to explode.

    Have you ever met one of those couples that cannot live together, but are also unable to live apart? Or that relationship where one partner wants things his or her way and the other has to 'submit'? For some people, this is a very familiar situation. They live in constant struggle. However, their egos feed on it, they have a pathological need to live this way. It is the submission of the 'other' that make the first one keep his or her power, because the 'other' needs to be dominated. So they seem to always strive to prevail one over the other. Obviously, if the first person doesn't have an 'other', how can he/she prevail over anyone. They need each other in order to keep the dynamic going. 

    The US and Russia situation is not much different from that couple. How can one develop 'muscle' if the other is not opposing it? It's been demonstrated that they don't have the ability to get out of the pathological dynamic. 

    Yet, the world doesn't really need a 'first' power, at all! Nonetheless, since History can remember, there has always been antagonisms. In all civilizations and ages the people of here were against the others from there. 

    Could someone please consider the idea of sharing? There is abundance, and enough for everybody. In fact, who got the idea that human beings have ownership of anything on Earth? What arrogance made us think that we possess the Earth? Do we even have the power to generate water? Can we create rocks, magma, air, light? Aren't we, human beings the most foolish beings in the whole Universe, capable of taking each other's lives only for the hunger of power? Where are wisdom, integrity, maturity, responsibility, honesty, trustworthiness? 

    Oh, World, I am so tired of you, your insanity, and your foolishness!
